I have a little question, hypothetical situation. This is something I could possibly see happening in real life. The question is how would you react? I'm going to type out an actual situation, but a sad end result that was unintended. How would you take it?

Alright, my dad (a big guy) always gives tight, hard hugs. As a kid, he used to hug us and say "I'm gonna squeeze all your guts out!!" Well, we always thought that was funny.

Skip ahead now to my kids. The other day, my dad saw my son and gave him a hug so hard, it actually took the breath away from my son & his face turned red. Of course he's fine and survived the hug, as always. But, here's where the odd question comes in.

If someone you KNEW, gave your child a hug and literally did squeeze them to death ACCIDENTALLY, would you be upset with this person for the rest of your life or would you be forgiving since it was an act of love and purely an accident?

Anybody wanna fuck?

Nah, you can always have another kid, what's one kid one way or another?

It's sorta like the jovial uncle who throws the baby in the air and forgets to catch it ....really tough gawd ..where's Auntie Ellen when we need her...

Nov 5 @ 8:08AM are so bad!! And as for an answer to the situation, I'm not sure on that one....gotta ruminate some and get bck to ya!!

And as for the other question...hell yeah!!

On the serious side...he coulda broken or cracked his little ribs. If it was me, I wouldn't wait until something serious happened....I'd tell him to stop it.

(Thanks for removing those idiotic comments... )

Yeah I wanna fuck but don't have time today....gotta go sit with Mama afterwhile.

Honestly, I don't know how I would react in that situation. I know I'd be very upset, but unless it actually happened to me, I have no way of knowing how I would truly react

Even though it was an accident I am not sure I would be able to forgive him.

That is one of those questions where I don't know unless it really happened. Hypothetically, I would be very upset of course, but, I believe I would forgive since it wasn't intentional. But, I also think I would stop it before that happened.

Good blog.

And who doesn't wanna?

Is that even possible? I will say I have a friend the same way- he told me that he'd hug me until he'd crack my ribs...

I love him to death, but I'll keep my distance.

in cross me or one of 'mine' and i'm NOT very forgiving without damn good reason..not sure STUPID will work lol

This is a hard question to answer because it involves the death of a child. I don't think I would be very forgiving, but I surprise myself sometimes. The details surrounding the incident would determine the way I handled the situation. Also, I think as a mom, I would feel a tremendous amount of guilt for not stopping the situation before it got out of hand.

This is one of those hypothetical situations where you might be surprised at the turn of events if it actually transpired.

Okay, here's the way I look at it, he's your kids grand-dad... if he accedently kills your kid, he's gonna feel really bad, just the fact that the child died would make him feel bad.... his own blood makes it much worse... i do not doubt this, i've seen how bad a death of a child/grandchild can be on a parent/grandparent...

in fact I've seen that exact situation with a cousin, her husband who was taking antidepressants, bought a shotgun took it home, killed his 15 y/o step-daughter who was in the shower, then walked down stairs and killed himself....with no other expalination that the meds he was on.
