Dumb as a box of Rocks
A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE KIND OF REPRESENTATION WE HAVE IN CONGRESS, TRUE STORY:
A noted psychiatrist was a guest speaker at an academic function where Nancy Pelosi happened to appear. Ms Pelosi took the opportunity to schmooze the good doctor a bit and asked him a question with which he was most at ease.
'Would you mind telling me, Doctor,' she asked, 'how you detect a mental deficiency in somebody who appears completely normal ? '
'Nothing is easier,' he replied. 'You ask a simple question which anyone should answer with no trouble. If the person hesitates, that puts you on the track.'
'What sort of question ? ' asked Pelosi.
Well, you might ask, 'Captain Cook made three trips around the world and died during one of them. Which one ? ''
Pelosi thought a moment, and then said with a nervous laugh, 'You wouldn't happen to have another example would you ? I must confess I don't know much about history.'
Sadly, not only do they walk among us, they vote, their vote equals ours, and they also reproduce.
I know there are bunches of the "They walk among us" jokes out there. This one just tickled my funny bone more than the others.

Sadly, Sugar, as funny as it is, I can actually see her doing that.
She always looks like she's concentrating really hard not to drool or something.
Think about it.....if Obama and Biden went down in a plane crash or something.....she'd be our president!

I know there are bunches of the "They walk among us" jokes out there. This one just tickled my funny bone more than the others.
The "True Story" in the title kind of threw me. Apparently it's a joke passing as a true story....

Actually, I believe it when Obama said that his administration will be transparent! Unfortunately, what he meant and what it is, is two different things! You can see right through Obama, Biden, Pelosi and Gibbs (Press Secretary).

I always check snopes before forwarding this type of stuff in an email.
But, c'mon, avatar. True or not, it is funny. There's lots of funny stuff out there.
This was probably made up by some republican pundit to make the democrats look bad. (Although they really don't need much help)
People forward those emails as truth.
Life is much more fun on the lighter side. Come on over and join us. It's ok to laugh at each other and ourselves.

See people, all sugar would have had to do is take "true story" out insert "joke" in place of it and the squabbling would have been avoided. Do you think that maybe proof reading a copy/paste email and editing might be a good idea?
As for checking in Snopes, I didn't bother when I read this post yesterday as I knew it was fabricated right wing BS. Obviously, most people see it as attempted humor. But there are always a handful of people gullible enough to believe it's true.

Quite frankly, I don't know of ANY news source or talking heads, that I can believe with 100% certainty, that what they say or write about, is true... or not- most likely, it's their interpretation! Which only goes to show what I've said before: watch what they do, (because, that is the truth) and pay little to what they say (because you can't know what is true or not!)

Actually, this wasn't an email. I'd seen it on a site for "they walk among us" and I got a kick out of it.
Anyone ever notice when Nancy Pelosi is asked a question she has this "deer caught in the headlights" look on her face? It's just a little something I've noticed and found humorous. That's why I found this one funny. Excuse me for sharing.

Almost as gullible as those that truely beleive that the left wing is better then the right wing huh?
I think anyone that goes around talking about how things are fabricated right wing BS, are obviously brainwashed, left wing BS slingers. Judging by my exposure to polititians at various government agencies, all wings spew BS. End of story.
