Don't you think? I'm not talking about the email here at AMD, I'm talking about other email. I love the ones from someone I don't know, never heard of, and they title their message with: "About your birthday gift" and it's not even your birthday. Or they start it with your name, and then go on to say something about meeting you. Do people really fall for this stuff? I had one today that I had to laugh at..it was from some Rosa woman, subject line in all caps saying my ATM card is ready. What? I only have one ATM card. And of course there is the famous lawyer writing about his client and clients family passing away and how YOU are either this unknown person's relative and will inherit millions of dollars...etc.
The internet can be a fun place, but just got to watch out for those potheads...err..potholes I mean. Have I ever been tempted to open some of these? Yeah, for giggles, but, I always think that if a nasty virus gets in my computer, then that wouldn't be so funny. I don't envy law enforcement trying to find these crooks. For every one they catch, I'm sure there are dozens more to replace them. Just so mind boggling how so many think it's ok to rip off others.
I know! Round up all the scammers and spammers, and ship them off to Mars or something. I mean, with all that money they are stealing from people...they could afford a one way ticket on a couple of the shuttles. Right?
