Seriously, WHAT the fuck....I have seen this more than once...
Are people THAT bored that they actually go back THAT far reading old blogs...or perhaps they find a profile they like and check their blogging list and decide to reply to show interest...?

Sorry, if anyone happened to reply on a blog of mine THAT damn old...I would still think them a dumbfuck...maybe in a private PM, say, but to me...publicly commenting on an ancient blog is about the same as coming into a RL conversation ten minutes late into it...

I have done this a couple of times with some of our own regulars that went inactive over a long period of time to kind of showcase their blogs at the time when this site was really kicking, and to somewhat introduce the newbies to what they missed with some of our past members.

I think you know the kind I am referring to, Bro....

Was never a "reg" thing...just when you see some never posted befores replying to ancient blogs, for seemingly no reason types.

Yeah, I did see that blog from about two years ago that was recently commented on tonight, and thought what made that guy comment on it from that time from someone who really isn't known by others on this site. But hey, I personally don't have a problem with this sort of thing.

I think i'd have to know more about what you're talking about. In general though I agree with you.

Boredom possibly????????

I seldom comment on any of the blogs. Must admit I also don't bother reading some of them. Title has to attract my attention.

When a person first logs in there is a display of most popular blogs. Many are straddle's like would you perform oral sex on some one of the same gender for $100.00. New people click on these and comment.

Call me a dumb fuck then.. (I prolly wouldn;t be offended anyway(.

Esp back when I was more irregular, I would reply to one of the blogs showcased on the login page..some of them are mighty old. I remember posting comments, and then noticing the dates on the other comments,,,

And I have posted on other blogs by the same user because they looked interesting. Not everyone here posts a blog every 2.5 days. And not everyone logs in daily. These days logging in is a pretty regular thing, I know what the current topics are and which are not.

But I don't log in that frequently, so I miss things. Like the joke contest. I considered posting a "fresh" joke after it was over. I am sure glad I didn;t -- you would have made fun of me and hurt my feelings.

I wouldn't have worried about that. Nobody was linked to their jokes. But the overall ratings were low across the board. I suppose that when people see the joke anonymously, they say what they think minus offering courtesy laughter to people they like when a joke is openly posted by someone.

What made me ask was a reply to a two year old blog that was only commented on 6 times. Obviously NOT on the popular list on the login page. And this I have seen before.

I know which blog you are talking about (last commented blogs). I suspect some random guy was looking at her profile, saw her blog, and felt the need to add his .02 (maybe in the hopes that his words of wisdom would entice her lol). He probably didn't even bother looking at the date it was posted.....just like most don't bother to look at anything except that it's a women and in their area.
