One of our friends here lost a very specail member of her family today. Maybe we can all give her a little cheering up. PINKTOENAILS Cat went to kitty heaven today

Thank you Elaine.... it's not so much losing her, it's the manner in which she died.... something attacked her and ripped her stomach open and paralyzed her back legs.... she had to be put down.... I had that cat for 15 years....

It is sad when a pet passes. Many people who are not pet owners do not relate. But our four legged companions have a magnificent meaning in our life in absence of meaningful people. There is much to be said about unconditional love. They epitomize it.

I am so sorry for you loss of your kitty, PTN. That is terrible. We have an old cat we love and have to keep him in because of the coyotes and Javelina's. I am truly sorry and understand your feelings.

It was a rough day...She'd been missing for a couple of days and she was pretty old.... I kinda figured she'd just gone off and died cause that's what animals do usually..... but it knocked the wind out of me today...
