I live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, but I can't find the Chai tea they carry at the Costco in Bellingham, Washington. Therefore, every 2 weeks, I make the drive south (about 70 miles round trip) to pickup my beloved Chai tea...oh, and to get gas too. You may think this is a bit silly, but I place a high priority on my tea, and it's what I'm willing to do to get it.
With that being said, how far would you travel to obtain an item you really wanted?

If there is something I want I usually find someone carries it online if I can't find it at a local store. Or if I can't find it online either, I switch to something else.

1000 miles for Ken Davis BBQ sauce...............Ok i attended my son's graduation too but I went home with a gallon of that BBQ sauce in my suitcase..........its only carried in MN, WI, ND, SD and Iowa............and when I lived in Ohio everytime I came home i bought a bunch or if the kids were coming down to see me they would bring it down........That was one of the best things about moving back to MN.

I love old dutch chips..They don't have them here and it is almost 900 miles to MN..My friend from my home state was coming down to visit and I had him bring me chips..Plus my mom mailed me a bag..The bad thing about that is they are mostly crumbs by the time I get them in the mail.
Also fisher sunflower seeds..they are the best. My mom sends them to me also.

White Castle's..I still love them. If I happen to be going to Columbus I will stop and get them. From here it is about 80 miles one way. I don't make a special trip for them. I won't buy them frozen not the same thing. I also miss taco john's..We have taco bell which I don't like..
Damn now I need to move closer to the food..

depends on the item and the distance 
a few yrs ago I tried everywhere to buy a set of CD's by Vern Oxford, most of them were out of print, but I managed to track down a copy in Belgium of all places.
isn't the internet a luvely thing .. 
and I've been known to bribe a certain American chicky babe with chocolate Tim Tam biscuits that she won't admit to you lot ,are better than the girl scout biscuits she sells

Oh man! I wish we had those here! I used to live in Cheyenne where taco john's is headquartered.... last time I had one though was when I was in Indiana.... I was in heaven!! 
Every year we hit the world's longest yard sale, I don't go looking for anything in particular but always manage to find some cool stuff! That yard sale stretches from somewhere in OH down to AL... I love doing that!!

I am 12 miles from the nearest fast food joint and I have to drive to drive 35 miles to get to anything except Wal-mart or Dollar General. To get somewhere with even more choices it is at least 70 miles.

taco john's Just went there last week, its about 15 miles from my house but worth the drive.
I live about 250 miles from Seattle which has alot of things I go there for.

I had a FWB and we were quite an item for a while. Does that count?
Lets see....... distance.......... she was about 800 miles. One long damn car ride, or a nice 2 hour flight.

Well, I would probably drive 12 miles to Star Bucks for my favorite coffee drink. To be honest, I wouldn't travel a great distance for many things. Now, if I won the Ohio lottery, I'll drive to Columbus (about 100 miles north) for my money.
