So, this week has been very interesting...painful too...literally.
The week started like any other and then the first thing happened on Tuesday. I tripped somehow and fell down the stairs in my house. Yes, they had to be hardwood stairs too. I didn't know before the fall exactly how many stairs there are, but I sure know now...14. It's funny...I didn't cry when I hit the bottom...I started to laugh. Luckily, I wasn't alone. Two of my girlfriends were present and when I finally picked myself up and limped back up the stairs...all I wanted was a shot of Jack Daniels because I knew the pain was coming. I was soooo right. I'm black and blue and purple and green and yellow all over...it's all very colorful. It hurts to sit and it hurts to stand, but I didn't break any bones so that's a good thing.
The second thing happened on Friday. I was driving down the road and got rear-ended. I just love it when you're not the one to cause an accident, but you're the one who gets yelled at. I really don't know how I kept from rolling my eyes at this crazy woman...I just wanted her to shut up and give me her insurance info. I'm still a bit stiff in the neck from this accident.
The third thing took place on Friday as well. I was taking a stroll through the park when an out of control dog decided to bolt from his owner and tangle his leash around my legs. It was so tight it cut my leg. Well, the owner was very apologetic and well, dogs will be dogs. I didn't have the heart to say anything negative to either one of them because it was obviously an accident.
On my way home, I just kept thinking to myself...that's number three. Bad things happen in threes. Well, hell...that's it. My luck is about to change. I immediately went to the store and bought a lotto ticket. Who knows...I might just win.

Awww.. dang girl!! Hopefully you're done with the bad luck for the week!! Good luck on the lotto... you deserve to win something at least! Keep us posted!!

Oh Lordy, dont you hate it when you fall??? A while back I fell off of a step stool (I was pulling a Softie, and trying to get everything done at once) and I fell onto my back. But I 'was so happy that my legs still moved!

It's time to turn the dark cloud inside out and see what it's silver lining has to offer. Your escapades sound similar to mine except I stepped in dog poo and I was the one who accidentally rear-ended someone... that was embarrassing and cost me a bundle. Need to remember to lower the deductible on my car—LOL!

Thanks so much for all your comments and well wishes. I'm actually in really good spirits and hoping like heck these types of accidents are in the past to stay. I decided to blog about it because I thought you all would find my accident prone week as funny as I did...heck, I'm still laughing about it.
Fordman: I haven't seen any black clouds following me, so I think my luck has changed. If I see any, do you want me to send them your way?! 
RDL: Trust me...I had enough JD this week for the both of us.
PTN & Dione: I haven't bought a lotto ticket in over a year...I usually wait for the jackpot to hit some insane amount like 30 million. The purchase seemed fitting for this week...and I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed.

Wow ..bless your heart!!! Things will get betta Soon!!! You are very lucky you didnt Break something!!! 
My lady friend fell down just 7 steps the other week... her leg folded up under her when she fell (she was on top of her leg while falling/riding down the steps!)and it bruised the hell out of her leg and Big toe!!!
