I love pizza. It is my favorite food.

We have a lot of pizza places around here. I have one favorite that was locally owned but they got to be too expensive. Then East Of Chicago moved in..I love their pizza. They have a taco pizza that is to drool for. It comes in thin crust, regular and pan. I like the pan. The crust has a great flavor. I use to like Pizza Hut's but one time I ordered from there and it was no longer good. Plus really expensive. I think East of Chicago has resonable prices. The owner came into where I work with his family and I asked him if I could have a job..I said you can pay me in Taco Pizza. When I lived in MN there was a locally owned pizza place by my house that had taco pizza. Since I came here no one made one. Until East Of Chicago.

What is your favorite pizza? I remember we use to make homemade one's that were good but now it is too much work and cost's almost as much to make as it does to buy. I don't like Little Ceaser's at all.

Do you like thin crust, regular crust, or pan?

One very cool thing about DFW is that we have a lot of immigrants. In the seventies and eighties it was from other parts of country. Since then it is from all over the world. As a result we have a cornucopia of places to dine!

My favorite place I called Sal's in Dallas. I love their thick Sicilian large square pizza with the works. It weighs over six pounds with a thick crust. Unless you prepare by starvation prior to indulging, four pieces is the max for a big guy like me.

Little Caesar's returned to DFW in the last month after being blown out of the market 20 years ago. As a result, we have a pizza war happening (cheap eats in the usual pedestrian fare) between them, Pizza Inn, Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa Johns. So you can get a large one topping pizza around here from almost any of them for about five dollars plus tax. Great for football parties or sleep overs with kids.

Nice blog Tammy!

I love pizza of just about any flavor but living out in the country I don't get delivery and the closest pizza place is about 15 miles away. I started buying Wal~marts cheese pizza then I add ham and pineapple an some extra cheese and it is delicious. Oh by the way...the Wal~mart cheese pizza is just $6.95. For probably ten dollars I have a very good pizza and don't have to go out for it. I usually buy them 3 or 4 at a time and freeze them until I'm ready for them. Damn think I'm gonna go get me some right that is LOL. Good blog Tammy and a kudo.

We have Papa John's behind where I work. I tried their pizza a few year's ago and didn't care for it..To me I like a light sauce and a crust that has flavor..Needless to say I had taco pizza for supper..And tonight it is kind of soggy..I got it from the same place too. Maybe they are having a off night..But it is still good..

Depends what I am in the mood for...Noble Roman's used to be around (not just in gas stations) and they had one with spinach, prosciutto ham, goat cheese and, I think, a white sauce (it's been a LONG time). That was a great pizza. There is a frozen one, green box, that I really like...thin crust, spinach, white sauce and some other's really good for frozen (and usually on sale for about $5). Talk of taco pizza has me wanting this place called Pizza King's taco pizza tonight...think I'm going to order that... Most of the time it's just pepperoni...I don't care for sausage or green peppers on my pizza at all.

Giseppi's out here makes a tollable Za. I particularly like their Pesto and 5 cheeze pie.. on regular crust.

However, given my druthers.. I like one I make with Mama Maria's crusts, a tiny bit of contadina sauce, a tiny bit of pesto, lots of cheeeeeze, Endouille sausage, pepperoni, pineapple and olives. MMMMMMMM.

I'm not a big pizza fan...Every great once in a while and I'm good for quite a while.
I haven't had East of Chicago Taco Pizza for probably 4 or 5 years, but I used to like it when I was in the mood for pizza.

Now if I order any, I order from a local owned place that has great pizza and subs at a very reasonable price..
I think the last time I ordered pizza, was the first time Griz was here.... lol

But it has to be pan crust and have some vegetables on it. Not just pepperoni.

Oh, Skwirly reminded me with her comment about pesto...btw, totally YUM!...back in Sacramento there was a place called Original Pete's. Loved their sauce, just tomatoes drizzled in EVOO, with a few kinds of cheese and I added a pinch of red pepper. Way YUM! The also had a vegetarian one that was fabu, sans the green peppers, of course.

Father Max...try pesto sauce (instead of red) on the Hawaiian pizza. I promise you it will be wonderful.

In my opinion, Papa John's is the most disgusting chain pizza out there right now. Mind you, haven't tried that many, but the only thing PJ's has going for it is the peppers they send with the pizza.

I like Cicilys pizza myself

Sven and Ole's
I remember seeing that when I lived up that way but never ate there..

I only like the combination style pizza's

I used to work in an Italian Privately owned restaurant for years, and so one of the favorite things on the menu was Pizza..and OMG they made the best hand tossed pizza's in town...I loved the Hawaiian Pizza they had with ham, pineapple, brownsugar and of course extra cheese ;) But they have closed their doors back in December so no more job :( no more pizza :(

However there is another privately owned italiaz restaurant in town named Originals Italian Pizzeria and I would have to say they have pretty darn good pizza too.

Once in awhile my kids will drag me to Pizza hut and when we go we always have to have the Stuffed Crust pizza with Pepperoni/Sausage

But I love pizza...could eat it 3 x's a else do you think I got this rubenesque figure I carry around?

But now that I've joined SCORE & Curves and lost 30 more pizza for me

A green Smile for you Aly....great blog!!

My favorite is A thin crust with pepperoni, tomatoes, black olives, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and extra cheese.

We have a pretty good local place that delivers, so maybe once a week DKW and I indulge, when neither of us is up to cooking.

Great blog

East Of Chicago
I haven't been up to Wheelersburg to try it yet. Pizza Hut in New Boston moved on out of that building earlier this year. That's where I got my pizza if I wanted something from Pizza Hut. But you probably went to the Pizza Hut in Wheelersburg when you did order something from there.

What is your favorite pizza?
That depends on where I get my pizza from. If it was Pizza Hut then I would get pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers. Dominos, it's just pepperoni and sausage. Giovanni's, it's a cheese pizza.

Do you like thin crust, regular crust, or pan?
Pan pizza
