Disclaimer: I have nothing but total disdain for politics and politicians! I loath the ground they walk on and the air they breath! I present my information as 'issues', I feel is pertinent to our citizens as a whole!

UNITED WE WIN [politicians] - DIVIDED THEY LOSE [citizens]!!!

To view the H. R. 3200 file (.Pdf), you will need Adobe Acrobat or, you can download 'Foxit' which is a .Pdf file reader without all of the bloated options that comes with Acrobat! It downloads quickly, has no viruses and is easy to install!

You can download Foxit from here:

Reform bill complete:

H. R. 3200 (.Pdf)

This link is where I got the information from:

Cindy's blog

The last link below, is a list of the concerns in this bill presently being rammed down our throats! It is only half the bill, I guess they're working on the other half- dunno! I have spent more than enough time on this as it is!

Reform highlites

In lieu of the link you can read the highlites here:

• Page 16: States that if you have insurance at the time of the bill becoming law and change, you will be required to take a similar plan. If that is not available, you will be required to take the government option!

I already have read what has been available on it and will read the rest as soon as it is ready. Can you tell how bored I have been? But it pays to read ALL of the bills that have effect on our lives. I always have since I was old enough to vote.

The AMA sold doctors out: the government will set wages.
Which means there will be no continuing education for doctors and why should they get it they won't lose patients because they don't have any up to date treatments (well except for the ones who die) and they won't get paid more for getting better educated.

All non-US citizens, illegal or not, will be provided with free healthcare services.
And we will continue to pay out so they can go to the emergency room every time they get a hang nail..........not bad enough that our tax dollars are going to pay welfare for these people now we can expect to pay out even more.

Every person will be issued a National ID Healthcard
Yep I can hear it already...........................Your Papers Please................ one more way for big brother to watch what we are doing...............

private insurers will be crushed.
More of the Osama Obama lets make the unemployment levels rise plan..........

The federal government will have direct, real-time access to all individual bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.
They already control how much we have...........now they are going to have the control to take the rest away from us.................

Admission: your health care will be rationed!
Which will affect the elderly the most.................We are going to live in a country that we might as well make euthanasia legal because the sick won't be living for very long anyway.

I have nothing but total disdain for politics and politicians!
And i have less everyday with this bullshit.............if this health care program is such a good idea why do our politicians get exempt from it?

Thanks Som................Great blog............damn another of my dusty kudos going out today............

I've read parts of this previously, but the highlighted list simplifies the effort for searching the document for subjects I'm interested in learning more about. I do not like what I am reading... this is an understatement.

This is when calm, reason and clear judgment come into play. These issues should be addressed publicly and alternate solutions provided. As this bill stands I will lobby against it.

Here's a greenie for important documentation everyone needs to read and understand... NOW!

Thank you for posting this and I will slip a green thing to you.

Just a few scatter shots:

What, if anything, we will see will be far different. As written it won't fly.

Consequently, despite my interest in the issue, I see no reason to try to plow through it. Even if I love a book, it is unlikely I will be engaged enough to persevere through a 1,000 pages of it.

I suspect that the vast majority of people at the town hall meetings, both for and against, are motivated by their passion for a political ideology and are mouth pieces revved up by rhetoric and spins that they buy into.

My opinion will largely be forged by what organizations endorse what plan. For example, if the AMA, American Cancer Society, AARP, largely buy into a given plan, that is good enough for me.

After all, I don't have any say in the matter. Even though it is a very important issue, it is largely rhetorical for regular people. There may be a few people in so called swing states to where their views really count. But living in Dallas, Texas, a republican bastion, I know that my opinion will fall on deaf ears with my representatives, just as a republican who is merely a voter would in Boston.

My nickel minus three cents.

A++ on doing your homework. It'll be difficult for some to claim your
pages a 'lie', as so many have questioned facts presented previously.

A note about the AARP being on board......Big Deal, they are just 'another'
insurance company that CLAIMS to be there for 'it's' customers. I know in this part of North Texas, AARP has all sorts of insurance commercials on the TV, just not as cute as the Lizard ones.

I'm still waiting for all those NAFTA pages to be in .Pdf, to see how bad
we were really screwed.

Umm..looks like these are simply YOUR interpretation of the "highlights," OP.

Having said that, healthcare is rationed now. Big time.

No... they're not MY interpretation of the highlites! I found them while surfing today- they're someone elses interpretation! I simply posted them here!

Same as H.R. 3200 isn't MY interpretation of the health care reform bill! I found IT while surfing the internet today! I simply posted IT here too!

Whatever. Point is, they're not what's actually stated in the bill; they're someone's ERRONEOUS interpretation of what the bill states. Typical Republican paranoia.

For the liberals in the house...

thomas.gov....

No need to talk about what someone else said...read it yourself.

No need for "the liberals" to read it. "The liberals" HAVE read it. That's why "the liberals" are for it. "The conservatives" need to read it, then have "the liberals" go back over it with them, and explain what all the big words mean.

• Page 59: The federal government will have direct, real-time access to all individual bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.

I have a major issue with that idea as I do NOT want the government "helping themselves" to my bank account!

I suspect that the vast majority of people at the town hall meetings, both for and against, are motivated by their passion for a political ideology and are mouth pieces revved up by rhetoric and spins that they buy into

I agree with Bruce on that.

And just looking at these highlights here...there is NO WAY I would want this bill to pass. Like I've said before...when I think of health care reform..I think about bringing cost under control. One idea...stop allowing for frivolous lawsuits, not necessarily saying put a cap on rising costs of premiums, but, make premiums available based on income, but still getting quality care. I watched the fiasco with the cash for clunkers...and, if the government can't handle THAT, what makes them think they can handle health care?

No..as this bill stands, I'm against it. And I've already written my elected officials about it.

To use your words: Whatever! Apparently you will disagree with anything that doesn't fit your liking- key words: fit your liking! If you disagree with an issue, then you have the right to counter with information refuting what I posted!

I won't let you try and draw me into a political argument as you surely are trying to do! This is NOT a Democratic or Republican issue! It is a citizen's issue as a whole- something that you apparently, refuse to acknowledge, being strictly one sided as you obviously are!

The basic idea of a 'two party system' that we have, is to discuss issues that will affect our citizens in this country and to come up with solutions for the good of our citizens. It's everything BUT that and BOTH parties are guilty of it! Pros and cons is what it's about! However, it's far more con than pro... at the moment anyway!

You mean like the H.R. 3200 Health Care Reform Bill itself, that no one in Congress cared to even bother to read in the first place??
