I've been hearing a lot of people around me asking, "where's Summer?" One of my sisters has been griping about how "cold" it's been, and that we haven't had Summer yet.

Ok, so it hasn't been a sweltering 90+ degrees. Instead, it's been a pleasant warmth in the upper 70's to low 80's for the most part. Yeah, we have had a couple of times where it was dreary, didn't get out of the 60's, but, mostly, it's been pleasant. I know I've enjoyed it. My bills for the last couple of months have actually been UNDER $50. Compared to almost $200 a month during the Winter months, I'm definitely enjoying the mellow Summer we are having here. I think I've turned on my a/c maybe 5 times so far.

Yeah, yeah, ok..I know, I'm talking about weather. At least I'm happy and enjoying it this time. Wait till Winter, then I'll be whining again.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this summer! It has been nice and fairly mild... humid a few days but we have only hit the 90 degree mark once this July! Hard to believe!! We'll probably get our asses kicked in August and September tho! Whew! I've had a great summer! Looking forward to a great fall too!!! I'm dreading winter coming tho.... I wonder, if it's been this mild this summer, are we in for the winter they've been predicting for years!??! Cold and snowing asshole deep to a 10 foot man?!?!? I hope not!!

The lower power bills have been a blessing too! I love it!!

We have had a very pleasant summer too. I am so glad cause the heat index along with the humidity can kick your ass to the ground here in Memphis. What;s in store for us? I don't know, but it has kept me from using all my money on utilities this season. Happy! Happy!

We have had mostly rain and dreary weather, I'm still willing to give away the rain for some of the sunshine, but you gotta keep most of the excess heat.

This weather has been just lovely around here. Not complaining a bit, I can sleep at night without laying in a puddle chuckle. So I couldn't agree with you more sugar. :o)

Sounds like you moved back to Sacramento!

We had no air conditioning in CA...but thank gawd we had that built in pool. May were the nights I was in it at 2 am....

We have had one of the coldest summers in history my daughter keeps whining about the fact they can't go swimming cause its too cold...........i love it........i like it when its cool.........and i figure we are probably going to make up for it in Aug.........Lord help us.
