I remember that day well,l as I was on what we called 'summer camp' in the Army Reserves at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri or as I used to call it: Misery because it was so frigg'n hot in July, then anyway! I remember being huddled around a TV, watching Neil Armstrong stepping out of the LEM module, onto the Moon's surface!

But the 2nd astronaut stepping down looked ghost like and transparent to me! If you watch the 2nd astronaut drop to the ground, you can see the edge of the Moonscape behind him, through him!

You can see the non enhanced video through this link:

Stepping on the Moon

There are all kinds of information out there, that refutes the very idea that we even set down on the Moon! I selected one website, that brings forth arguments regarding that fact!

Personally, I believe we did land on the Moon! That's an awful lot of hardware that was developed and money spent, not to mention some lives lost, not to have landed on the Moon.

I have provided a link for those who may be interested in reading about theories saying it was all faked, being explained! It's interesting reading [lot of info there] if nothing else!

Conspiracy theories debunked

What do you think- did we land there or are you in some doubt about it?

I think we did. I grew up watching the space program and that would have been too much trouble for a big lie even for our government in my opinion. At least we got a lot of great inventions out of the program.

You are sooo right about the inventions that came out of the space program- lots of people forget that fact! I even forgot to mention that!

We got lots of medical advances from war, but that doesn't make it good.
Seems to me that space is a vast and empty wasteland and the money and
resources could be put to better use helping the average citizen in some way.
Millions of Americans are struggling to make ends meet yet our leaders pour
trillions of their hard earned dollars into useless bullshit.

Just sayin'.

We landed there... no doubt about it!

I met Dr. Wernher von Braun when I was twelve years old while he was speaking at an astronautics engineering forum in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He's a fascinating man and earned the recognition as the preeminent rocket engineer of the 20th century.
