I was reading something WoW wrote on another blog about people getting on here for a distraction from the trials and tribulations of every day life (I think most of us have given up on the whole having sex angle of this site...  or is it  ????). So....I thought I'd try and throw something out here that hopefully lots of us will participate in and have a good time doing it...
Anyway...let's pretend we're actually going to have a get together. Everyone that is coming has $500 for traveling, lodging and misc. expenses. Cover charges, food and beverages will be covered.
So, plan this party. Where are we meeting and when?

Conceptually that is cool and it had been tried as I understand it. The result was a collision between the non-drinkers and the over served :/
Besides, to attract folks, it would probably require going to Indiana or Ohio as that is where most of us live. A sojourn of that distance is not in my budget.

I say everyone come here to Alabama for at least 4 days. We have a national forest park here with all kinds of camping places, from primitive camping to regular camping with showers and electricity, from cabins to chalets. There are swimming holes, beaches, waterfalls and the highest mountain in the state here. You all know that Alabama is the cheapest state to live in and with the lowest cost of living, so why not here. The primitive camping area is free, so all it would cost you would be travel expenses to get here and food. If you have extra money to spend, rent a cabin or chalet. There are restaurant there, or down the mountain there are stores and restaurants. Which ever you want to do. Just an idea. lol Come on down. It'd be fun.

Well that settles it...............Indiana it is..............
How about Minnesota..............in the summer time of course............we have some large resorts with camping areas.............some beautiful lakes ...........for swimming and fishing.............the mosquito are almost nonexistent the last couple years..........you can go water skiing, rafting, canoeing, pontooning...........and if you drink...........well Minnesota doesn't have drinking as a hobby its a career here.............
There could be day trips to Mall of America, Valley Fair, the headwaters of the Mississippi, the home of Paul Bunyan............there are Native American Pow-wow's and if you have never seen one of those.....they are totally awesome..............and casinos.............if you have not spent enough money on the trip ...........you can always throw some away on the casinos.

Hawaii sounds good, but I'm afraid we would all be so busy enjoying the islands that we wouldn't get to enjoy time with friends.
Other than Florida, California or a nude beach, about any place sounds good.
Dayna and Dana both have good ideas.

No really...no driving (except to get your butts here, and $500 should more than cover that for even the farthest). Everyone chip in for food, we already have the set up for live music, and we have a Pool! As for drinking, we don't but don't mind others who do...just be mindful that bad behavior isn't tolerated. Also, it's BYOB. We'll provide the coffee, ntm fresh veggies and watermelon!
