Happy 233rd Birthday America! posted 7/3/2009 10:28:34 PM | 2 kudos what's this?     report abuse   sugarnspice005 Wow! 233 years ago this land went from 13 colonies to 50 states, and a major super power in the world. Yeah, we're going through a nasty recession, but, I saw on the news today that Lady Liberty's Crown is opened again! It's our country's birthday, and regardless of where your political views lie, it's time to celebrate! And to remember all the men and women who have fought and died so we can enjoy the freedoms we have. Also, I never see this mentioned, but, we should also thank the families of those same men and women. Happy Birthday America!
