	Myabe I should run for office LOL I could use the retirement after 4 or 6 years. And for once I might actually have healthcare since I have not been able to afford it for the last 10 years. (Have the medical bills that have piled up to prove it) And I could sure use the job right about now. Not quite sure they are ready for me though because I would show up for work in my harley t-shirt and jeans for work and I am not too sure a few of them would want to hear what I have to say. If it was a job people could get fired from then I think they would do a better job. Personally I think once a year these people should be up for review and if the people who voted them into office are not happy with the job, have a special election and fire their butts just like any business would do without all the sweet benefits. Bet they would be doing a better job up there.

	I will bet if you ask ten people on the street who Thomas Paine was or what the Essay Common Sense was about, most would not know. If you ask the same ten people who is on American Idol, more of the ten could answer that. I think the media is as much to blame as the politicans. Look what is on the news today - Michael Jackson coverage.
