Reports coming in has it that Michael Jackson has died of heart failure about two hours ago. Reports are still coming in. This happened in Los Angeles this afternoon right where he was about to perform in concert at the Staples Center. Been listening to Fox News where they have not annouced his death yet, but a local NBC station from my area has stated that he has in fact died.

I did a google news on it....many many sources are reporting it.

Yes, that's a saying I have long believed also. Death comes in threes.
That would be the third for the celebrity circle.

Like him or hate him, he was an icon for the music industry.

I liked some of his music and I thought he was gifted and talented but as a person? He left a lot to be desired in my opinion. One french fry short of a happy meal....

Love him or hate him, let's keep the snide ass remarks off this blog about him. He was found innocent with the charges at the time. I don't agree with the lifestyle he had through the 90's as far as hangin' out with little boys, but he was in fact a music icon! Anymore snide ass remarks that come in about the guy will be deleted! Even if you don't like him, at least show some respect...

I have to agree to that. It is very very bad mojo to speak ill of the dead...

This is from England.

LONDON, England (AP) — Michael Jackson, a leading world beer critic who praised the brews of Belgium and acknowledged he would never be as famous as “that Michael Jackson,” has died. He was 65.

Michael Jackson did a lot of good in his private life as well. He gave LARGE amounts of money to Eastern European countries for childrens' charities during the fall of the Soviet Block, giving concerts or just writing checks. Also did great humanitarian things at home concerning terminally ill children.

He was a man and a human being, as fallible as the rest of us. But he didn't horde his money, his time, or himself.

He will always have my respect for that.

You know as it was stated on another site! yes I did copy and paste this

Two ignorant comments.Shame on you both.

May I remind you that Jackson was found NOT GUILTY in 2005 on four counts of molesting a minor, four counts of intoxicating a minor, one count of abduction, and one count of conspiring to hold the boy and his family captive at his 2700-acre Neverland Ranch compound.

Jackson always denied the charges and claimed that he was the victim of obviously failed extortion attempts of which I also agree with.

So...RIP Michael and God Bless and Thank You for all the of the great music that you "Thrilled " myself and all of us Jackson fans with for so many, many years

I was in my room taking a nap and my sister came in and told me that Michael had died. I sprung up and told her that I refuse to believe it, but-

As a child who was born almost a month after MTV first debuted, he was a big part of my childhood as any musical artist. Thriller was one of my childhood memories and a staple of Halloween each and every year. So was the movie Moonwalker that I seen on vhs tape. My dad was a HUGE Jackson 5 fan and from there I became acquainted with his earlier work with him and his brothers. I mean, has anyone ever heard a kid of 10 sing with such conviction? His family came from nothing and made it into something.

Do you know what that means for someone like my dad, me and other poorer blacks?

Dude was a FUCKING legend. All these other artists will try and emulate his style of dance for years to come, but there's only one MJ. Will be, always and forever. Despite his troubles, as a fan I stood by and stuck by. I figure only the Universe knows whether he did that or not, but its not for us to judge.

I figure even if you didn't like the man at all RESPECT THE FUCKING TALENT!

I recall, a time I was asleep and I was told my grandmother had died. I know that no one shouldn't cry over celebrities, but he was awesome. I think I'm the only one in the house who cares right now.

Not wanting to start an argument..........

Jackson always denied the charges
So did OJ but how many people believed him?

But his contribution to the music world has to be respected...........and although I did not personally care for a lot of his music...........there are a few that i did like......Its a shame that anyone has to die that young................

R.I.P Michael.

It's a sad day. Two talented people are gone. Regardless of what anyone thought of Michael Jackson, no one can deny he was talented. I loved his music and loved watching him dance.

I was a fan of MJ since I was a little girl, the Jackson 5 and the Osmonds, and there was another family band that I liked at that time, but for the life of me I can't remember their names.

I'm with the rest of the people here saying that he was an Icon of music, but I don't agree with the things he has done in his personal life. I respect the man for what he did in his music career, but never with what he was accused of and the things that was reported that he has done.

His passing also took the wind out of Farrah's sails when she passed today. May she rest in peace also.
