I don't know how many of you remember Asnet.. or remember him as fondly as I do.. but..
I got a message from Sunny that Arthur is in Intensive Care in NYC. I don't have details yet, just know that he's been in ill health for quite a while.

He is in my prayers and affirmations, I was aware of it. Art is a good man, he spoke his mind. It may not been what people wanted to hear, but is a voice people need to hear. Art is a very intelligent and wise man. We are privileged to have his participation and insight.

 he's not just fakin it for the free body washes from hot nurses is he ?

Both Arthur and I have butted heads a number of times on here, but I never wished him any ill will. Sorry to hear about this.

Here are some of the details as of right now regarding Asnet's condition;
He went to the hospital on June 3rd for a simple heart procedure, and developed some serious complications including and infection and a collapsed lung. He is currently (or at least as of last weekend) under heavy sedation and on a breathing tube.
I've emailed his medical surrogate, whom I got this information from, to let him know that we are all praying for Arthur. If there is anyone in the New York City area that could go see him, I have that information available. I also have the address if anyone would like to send a card.
Thanks to everyone for lending their thoughts and prayers toward his recovery. I've seen this before and I've seen it work when all hope was lost. Hopefully we can come together and help him fight this, so he can come back and berate us all!
