When I got marreid we were both extremely young and didn't have an actual reception. So there was no first dance or song to dance to. Just a small get together at his parents afterwards...

If I ever got married again? Hmm, I don't have a clue, it would depend on what song fit US and how we both felt.

Well I don't care to reminisce about my first marriage. In fact, thinking about it makes me nauseous, so let's just not go there.

My current husband and I went down to the courthouse and got hitched. We never had a formal wedding, but our song is "Steady As We Go" by Dave Matthews Band (of course ).

I love "The Wedding Singer", such a sweet and awesome movie. Never been married before, but its a toss up between-

Overjoyed or Ribbon in the Sky by Stevie Wonder,At My Most Beautiful by REM or Pitter Patter Goes my Heart by Broken Social Scene

Apparently, I've given this some though, lol

We were married in Las Vegas. We went with friends to a club located in the hotel/casino, Desert Inn (now history) and danced to whatever they were playing. It was some big band song from the 40's or early 50's. I have heard it many times but did not know it's name.

Which wedding?

Actually I only had one formal wedding reception and to be honest I don't really remember what the song was.................I was slightly intoxicated..........

I loved that my son-in-law picked "Little Red Riding Hood." My daughter didn't want it but she caved after I reminded her that it wasn't just her wedding. That was the music played as they walked down the aisle after their vows.

We were young also...and got married in her Aunts House...No Music!!!!

I will worry about a Wedding Song......when/if I find someone Special!!!
If it ever happens again...there's gonna be Music, Lots of Music!!!!!!!!

Wedding? What's a wedding?

Surv emailed me and was mentioning that he didn't think he'd ever heard "Little Red Riding Hood" so I thought I'd post a link to YouTube of it...

Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs...

I have a few. One of them would be the theme song from the movie St. Elmo's Fire. Now, whom I marry also depends on what song I will use. If it was my high school sweet heart and first love, I would probably go with "Lady of My Heart" sung by Jack Wagner. If it was my second love (my daughter's mother) I would go with mine and Ann's song by Madonna called "Crazy for You".

Never had a first dance. No big deal as the relationship did not last. We went to South Carolina and stopped back by Taco Bell for the "wedding dinner" There I was sitting in Taco Bell in a white lace wedding gown. Had to bake my own wedding cake for when we got back home as he was too cheap to buy one from the grocery store. I was not a happy camper. My kids couldn't believe that he did that and they were little at the time. When a five year old knows something is wrong, it's wrong.

This is our song

It was the first one he ever dedicated to me here. I guess it would be played at our "wedding" if we ever had one. If we both ever get over the "M" word.

80s Theme wedding, Shawn! No,really- that'd be kinda cool. God,I'm such a sap if I love love songs.

Haha, default wedding song for most black weddings: Here and Now by Luther Vandross..can never go wrong with that at all.
