I got to thinking after reading Straddle's blog on frozen snacks after a plane crash- 
I figure that close friends on AMD, swap phone numbers as another way to keep in touch but, I was thinking- how would anyone know if a friend of several people on AMD, if something serious were to happened or worse, to someone? How would anyone know for sure! It's something to consider! Is it something that's obvious to everyone but me or what!
I'm thinking that most AMD members really don't want family members [in general] or close friends even, to know that us sex maniacs are members here!   "Yeah mom, I subscribe to Adult Match Doctor looking for women who are into: sex, group sex, toys, leather with whips and choke collars- if something happens to me, I need you to contact this person."
Did I explain it properly?
Any ideas?

I am not sure what others do........but there are a few here that not only have my phone number but either have my daughters phone number or she has theirs....just in case something happens. Since we are on the same cell plan, it would be easy for her to just go into our acct and find those numbers if necessary. I don't hide the fact I am on here to my kids, they have always known. Why hide, I am not ashamed of being on here or any other website, if I was I wouldn't be here.

I have my friends phone numbers written down, and so if anything happened to me, I'm sure my mom would get around to letting my friends know after her grieving. Not sure how long her grieving would last however, maybe 2-5 years before she would probably get around to contacting my friends.  lol

That is a very question. If I was to die, once the applause and cheers subsided, there would be no link to friends or family on my end to explain what happened.

My son knows where I keep my little black book, with all my passwords in.A few friends here, have my home number and cell number.Two also have my daughters phone numbers.

I have friends numbers in my cell and either Griz or my daughter would call everyone in there to let them know.
And at least one of them would post it here for anyone that might be interested.
The first time I was in the hospital last Aug I got phone calls -- in the hospital -- from a few people on here and only 2 people knew to begin with...

I am not ashamed of being on here or any other website
I don't look at it as being ashamed of being on AMD or other sites [I'm not]- I look at it in my family's or close friends perspective! I'm sure lots of people would prefer no one they're close to, know about it- one clue, are members with no photo(s)- lot's of them! I'm thinking of some high profile kind of accident, that's flashed around the world kind of thing! Y'all know how persistent reporters are!
Besides, I don't think I'd want my grand daughter checking out some of MY blogs- not that I would know, if I eneded up packing my bags for the big computer nerd place in the sky!

My sister knows I have an account here, and she knows the password to it.
This reminds me of a couple of AMD members who are no longer with us whose friends/loved ones posted a blog to let their friends know.
