if i came upon someone being attacked i would do all that i could to stop the
attack.for me the person's gender,race,or age would not be a factor.

Absolutely wouldn't matter to me. I'd want whoever was around to help me. So, in turn, yes I would help a stranger regardless their race/gender/age.
I've been known for picking up total strangers before. I live in Florida. All I know is, I wouldn't want to be walkin' in this heat......

The victim's race might not matter, but yours could mean you're putting yourself in more harm's way than you realize. Even if you're being a good samaritan, there's a lot of ignorant people out there (lots of them cops) who assume in a physical altercation that the minority is the one who started it. Be careful!

If I saw someone in need of help, I do anything I could to help that person, but realizing my physical abilities as a small person. Race, gender, religion have no bearing when someone is in danger and needs help. I myself was rescued once by an black co worker. He was my hero and always will be. How could I not return the favor and effort. Rac does not play any part in my life or the decisions I make.

I'm kinda with him on that.......... 
Now a serious answer, many times people go to the defense of helping someone out and end up getting hurt or killed themselves. That is why most police officers don't like going into a domestic abuse situation, they go to handcuff the abuser, and the other jumps them and beats the crap out of them for trying to arrest the love of their life........  That being said, If it was a case of someone beating up a child or an elderly person, you damn right I would jump in.......and color wouldn't matter, if its two guys going at it.........I don't give a rats ass what color they are.........they are on their own until the police show up.........and if it came to my children or grandchildren and someone was trying to hurt them, I wouldn't give a royal shit what color they were, what gender they were or how long I would be in prison but they would either be in intensive care or waiting for funeral arrangements to made for them.

I would help as long as helping doesnt endanger my life or my kids. Sorry i am not the best person in the world. I do try to as good as i can. As for color, gender or age. well if it was a child in need of help I would go as far as i could. Color and gender doesnt matter.

When I went to EMT school.......one of the first things I was taught was my safety first. That bothered me, I was going to be out there to help people and yet i had to make sure i was safe first. The reason was is because a dead hero is just that DEAD!! and will never be of any help to anyone again. I would love to be able to stop all the cruelty or abuse that people inflict on each other, but no one can possible do that....we can only do what we can............so here's a scenerio...........You walk out into the street and you see a man with a gun pointed at another man with a gun. Which one do you try to save...............well unless i have a gun and can shoot both I am just asking to be killed.
Helping each other out is great, but i would rarely put my life on the line to help people unless they were children or elderlyt, not because I think my life is more important than them..........but because I have a family i have to watch out for and who depend on me.......that is my responsibility.........I would of course call the cops but as far as two men fighting or two women fighting or a man and a woman fighting.........have at it......ill call the police but i am not getting in between them and if that makes me a bad person, or a selfish person.....than so be it.........but my family will always come first in my life. And when it comes to helping people I am color blind.

Race, sex, and age would not matter to me in helping someone. Now, on the other hand, if I knew the person was a liberal, I may think twice about it.
