I would like to thank everyone who commented on my first of this series. OMG! Yes a series! Many also had some dialog with me via email. All the comments for the most part were strong in their convictions and polite. I really appreciate all of you who did this. Some misunderstood yet were good enough to write and ask or give me the opportunity to explain further on specific things. Then there were the emails from people who do not comment on the blogs. I had two that agreed or partially agreed with me. I had nearly 100 that called me everything vile you can imagine and not once mentioned an issue. One told me how intolerant we conservatives are and all of our evil ideas should be wiped from this country. How very tolerant of her. Well, this email and several others in a similar vein have changed my mind (how novel a conservative changing their mind) about what I will write today hoping it may spur some real thought instead of how many curse words call I call this evil woman. So fasten you seat belts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

The Socialist/Democrats love to talk about their tolerance and how all inclusive they are. That would be wonderful if it were true, but if you really look at it they have every group divided up into a bunch of factions and some of those factions are even divided up into sub factions. Conservative don’t do this. We see all as equal. I do not go into a store or hire someone based on skin color, religion, place of origin, rich, poor, male, female, which minority (insulting in and of itself), sexual preference or anything other than can they do the job I am hiring them for? A great man, Dr. Martin Luther King said in his “I have a dream” speech on the steps of the US capitol that he longs for the day I man will be judged on the merits of his character and not the color of his skin. (I paraphrase). Contrary to what you may believe and what many have been taught, this is not what the Socialists are practicing! They are using you as a vote getter, pure and simple. Racism is not what it used to be in this country. Yes, we still have it. Just not like it was. If you would do some research outside the political groups propaganda, you would find some amazing things. America was and is nowhere near the most racist country on earth and never has been. That questionable honor goes to the Arab countries that started the slave trade to this country. Why this country? Because Europe in so many cases was over crowded with poor and starving already that they could not support. That is only one of many reasons. Point is we were not the only slave country. Many were and far worse than we. Every race and nationality has bee enslaved before at sometime in history. We, America, did more, faster than any other nation to abolish slavery. The Middle Eastern countries still have it, as does China and parts of Russia.

In this country, Lyndon B. Johnson, A Texas Democrat, saw the opportunity to gather up millions of voters. LBJ was already famous for his interesting methods of voter fraud that has been used many times by his party since. But this was something new. He came up with the Civil Rights Bill ( way over due).He was a master at arm twisting in all his days in Congress, but no amount of arm twisting and threats could budge the Democrats in Congress. It took the willingness and push of the House and senate Republicans to get this bill passed! Think about this. Lincoln, (Republican) freed the Slaves, Emancipation Proclamation, and it was Republicans who got the Civil Rights Bill passed! Before that it was Eisenhower (Republican) who got integration started into schools nationwide. It was Democrat governors who fought this the hardest, one of the worst was Orville Faubus of Arkansas, Bill Clintons mentor. Another Senator who fought very hard to stop the Civil Rights Act was Al Gore’s father. Jimmy Carter is a known racist and anti-semite even though he professes to be all for human rights, but look at his actions and what he says. Robert Byrd (D) senator from West Virginia was the grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and has repeatedly used despicable names for African Americans and Native Americans on the floor of the Senate and yet no one says a word in opposition except for a few conservative talk show hosts and a news outlet. Imagine is a Republican did any of these things.

More to follow....

I have a problem with statements like this...and yes, both (all?) sides make them. It's stereotyping at it's worst.

Sorry, forgot to add...and the stereotyping is why I stay away from political blogs. Yes, we can find instances of what you say but we can also find instances to disprove what you say. Too many blanket statements are made by most to make almost all arguments moot.

I agree with pretty much everything you stated on this blog.

This is very true. Over the past 8 months on here I wrote a few blogs about how liberals tend to see race and gender more than others, and the fact that most liberals preach about how intolerant others (us conservatives) are, but in truth liberals themselves are not very tolerant of other peoples views, and in my opinion, they are the worst offenders of this. I also believe that the Democrat party keeps people divided, down and out, and at odds with one another when it comes to race, gender, religion, and rich vs. poor.

This is a known fact, and yet I don't hear the liberal media bashing him, but rather giving him a free pass because of his Democrat party afilliation.

Keep up the great blogs. A lot of us enjoy reading them. Here's another kudo!

I thought I saw a little Bette Davis in you.

Uh oh!!! There's a bad word that turns me off and makes me stop reading.

Ignorant people usually use cuss words and don't reply to the topic because they simply don't understand it. That is not saying Democrats are ignorant, that is to say anytime thre is something that scares people, they don't understand, or simply don't agree with they turn to cuss words because they can't put an articulate sentence together............and that goes for both parties.......actually that goes for most people...........

This is an open blog site, if people don't want to read what is written there are a lot more blogs out there, they need to move on to one they do like or at least understand. You have just as much right to post blogs here as anyone else does.

Keep up the good work, there may be some stuff that I don't totally agree on but it is very interesting to read.

Yeah....... tolerance. Equality. Sure. That's why Democrats want to take talk radio off the airwaves, permenantly. Don't dare have a voice of opposition or dissent. People might hear something you don't want them to hear. Dont' believe me? Look it up. It's called the "fairness doctrine" They've been trying it for years and you can be sure you'll hear about it again.

Ever notice one thing all communist & socialist countries have in common? They all control the forms of communications. TV, radio, newspapers....

You and I didnt agree on everything in your last blog. I dont really agree with everything in this one. What does upset me is the name calling. No one should be calling you names or anyone else. This is free speech of course. But a little common decency should be used. As for socialists, democrats, conservatives. and republicans. That doesnt make you good or bad. its the people that makes their choices good or bad. ive seen good and bad in all parties. if you look long enough you can dig up bad inall of us.

What does upset me is the name calling.
I didn't see anywhere in her blog where she was name calling. Now, her stating that Obama and the most Democrats in the house and senate are Socialists is pretty much accurate in my opinion. Most of these dems support Obama with government takeover of private businesses and banks, and expanding government into our lives more and more each time. National healthcare is also part of socialism. So if this truth hits a nerve with some people, then maybe it should be a wakeup call. The only name calling I saw in this whole blog was in my comment stating that Jackson and Sharpton are clowns thriving on dividing people.

You're right, I read part of his comment wrong, and I apologize to rdsingle for the misunderstanding. However, I do know some people object with using the word socialism to refer to the dems today.

Thanks for the apology Straddle. Acutually Visualone209 and i have emailed a few opinions back and forth. We have not called each other names. just voiced our views in an email sort of way. as for naming all Democrats socialists. I dont agree. Its the people not the group.i know of democrats and republicans that dont follow main stream party lines. Like Laura said. As long as we keep voting them in, we are going to get the same crap back. I have gone to voting for the person who i think will do the least damage. I just do know if there is much difference between parties now.

TERM LIMITS!!!! will fix some of the problems.

Somebody said something about keeping out of politics on this site. It may be stressful on a relationship with extreme opposing political views, so you may as well find out where they stand before the vows. Religion as well.
