I'm trying to start up a street theater improv group with Shakespearean and contemporary acting techniques and improv games. If you are interested, and will be in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area for the summer, please contact me and give me your name and phone number. Enfortunately, the positions will not be paid, but we will have a hell of a lot of fun.

Respectfully, in knowing the demographics of this site, especially being small, why post this here instead of doing a search for people. Your efforts will bear more fruit going to CraigsList and local colleges, maybe WSU.

I'm with WoW on this one. Most people on this site haven't seen live theatre (aside from the High School Drama Department) in their whole lives. NASCAR is about the extent of the culture 'round these here parts.

Saw Rocky Horror performed at the University of Florida last November,so...not all of us are cultureless hicks. Now excuse me...The Hills is on.

Actually,I'm not aware of BET, MTV or Vh1s programming,so total joke fail.

Aw, c'mon Luna, you know damn well you're one of the handful of people I wasn't referring to in that remark.

When I lived in New York I used to see whatever shows my friend at the Village Voice could get me. He got to take along an assistant to cover the shows and I played his girlfriend when his parents were in town or he had events that required a date so people would not know about his boyfriend. He was one of the most interesting people I have met and loved introducing me to people I might have never had a chance to meet. Now I do not get to attend as many shows due to location but try to make it to a few broadway shows when the tours come through NC. But I do not think too many actors are on here unless you count the spammers. Do you have a local paper that covers events in your area? I know we have a free one here called Up and Coming.

I had two majors in college, and one of them was Theater. The other was Government. But getting back to theater, I really wasn't that much of a fan of it. I only took that to enhance my chances in acting with experience, and thought that this would help. I was wanting to get into the television business.

My major was journalism with minors in Abnormal Psychology and Political Science, but I took courses in everything from Physics to Belly Dancing and yes I did get a credit for that one. Just depending what course I could fit into my schedule.
