An Air France flight with 228 people on board has gone missing on its way from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, Air France said on Monday.

I have been following this. Given the reports of a heavy storm, loss of electrical power being reported by the crew, and being 220 miles from land at last contact, I am afraid that a miracle is highly unlikely.

When something like this happens it is scary to fly, but look how many thousands of planes take off and land safely every day. It is a lot safer than rush hour traffic or even trying to get across the street in most towns.

I hope for a miracle for these people, but that plane is down. A tragedy for their families to be sure. I think they are the ones who will need the prayers ro good wishes of people to get through this.

I am afraid that a miracle is highly unlikely.

Sounds like we are going to need all the paryer we can lay our hands on.
