Don't forget to take a pause and acknowledge the men and women, past and present, who made our holiday and way of life possible. Please pay homage to those that served, and particularly to those that paid the ultimate price.

They provided us with this time so that we could continue to our enjoy lives and fulfill the potential of the greatest nation on earth.

Love, remember, and most importantly: acknowledge and revere them. Our way of life as a way of life would not exist without their herculean efforts.

Our lifestyle in freedom is a result of their steadfast dedication to our people, often with the ultimate sacrifice. We live today in freedom because of these brave men and women, who served grateful nation that would not exist without them.

I remember those who've served and thank them each and every day in my heart and even more so today! These people should never been taken for granted! I have the utmost respect for our armed forces and everyone living in this great country should have it too!

Going to a cookout at lilofval's house! Wish you could all come!! They are a great group of people to spend time with!

Everyone be safe!!

Yeah, lady, we have. I personally hope we have a hundred blogs on it. Our men and women serving us are no joke. Consequently posts supporting our American men and women serving out nation are not reruns.

Every man and woman serving our nation - past, present and future - deserve our gratitude for their service. You may not believe in war, but without them we wouldn't be where we are today.

I have my own way of remembering our military... usually by going to a national cemetery, visiting a few graves and leaving a bottle of beer by some of them. Otherwise, I have a private thing I do, especially now. My late husband was an Army officer.

I was in Iraq in '91 with a battalion of paratroopers when
PFC Lars Chew stepped on a landmine and bled to
death in the Medevac chopper. Some people don't
make it back but they are not forgotten.
