Earlier this evening I sent out a few  's. It was in response to Sunshine's Wink blog. I thought everyone might get a kick out of getting a out of the blue and wonder why they were getting it from someone they didn't talk to on a regular basis.
You know everyone likes to get a friendly kiss on the cheek occasionally. Or maybe it's just me. I got a lot of responses. Some wondering why they got it, some thanking me for getting it, and some no response at all.
I'm not usually a touchy feelie person, but I do like kisses. And sometimes like anyone else I would just love to have physical contact with another person. I'm a divorced woman, my kids are grown, I get hugs from my granddaughters, but there's nothing like a hug from a real live grown up. lol It just makes your life feel better.
Ever had to stop and think when the last time someone just touched you? Not in passion, but just put their hand on your arm or shoulder? I have. Sometimes it was a long time inbetween those touches. All humans want contact. It just makes us feel better. So next time your around someone that is divorced, or unattached, just hug them or touch them. Even if it's just a touch on the arm. I promise it will make them feel better. I know it does me.

Last hugs was from my daughter, grand daughter and sister last Mother's Day! Everyone's so busy all the time, I don't see them very often but it's nice to get hugs!

I am a touchy feely person, most of the time. There are times when I am talking to someone and if it fits and we are standing close enough, I just lightly touch their arm at some point while we are talking. Just a friendly gesture.
I hug friends and family all the time.
But I am extremely picky about who touches me.... and why.
Yeah, I know...double standards.

I got your and sent one back. Ur so sweet! I'm a touchy/feely person...always have been and I gave that trait to my girls. My mom and my sister's for years wasn't but now they are.
What I miss is man hugs...man kisses. I'm a little more picky there only because I often run into guys that just use it for an excuse to cop a feel....flatten my boobs against their chest until its painful.
It's harder to give men hugs without them taking it for more than it is.
