My expectations of being on a friend's list... posted 5/19/2009 9:58:21 AM | 1 kudo what's this?     report abuse   Cootiesprayer I thought i should post this since lately total strangers have done nothing more than wink at me & then just assume that I am going to add them to my friends list. I feel that if you are on my friends list I know something about you, I know your first name, I have a vague idea what your week is like ( sometimes not possible if we are busy chuckle). I take the time to respond to every friend on my friends list even if it's just 1 of maybe 4 of there blogs I answer. I try to say hey how is it going if we haven't talked. I am not a friend's shopper. I know each & every person on that list. you may be asking why post this? so what who cares. I was informed i am to picky about putting people on there, you add people then get to know them that's why people add people to the friends list if they are just meeting for the 1st time. 	Personally...I don't "Get" the deal with the friends list... Except for...the bulletins and seeing if they are on-line(which they can hide..)...what good is it? just asking

	I get that a lot too Janet. A wink and a request to be on my friends list from some dude I've never heard of before. I just delete and decline. We just have to face the fact that there's a lot of guys out there whose IQ's equal the length of their peckers...and located in the same general vicinity..... Not to leave out the gals that does that to the guys....we know what they want...they wanna come to America...

	Janet I usually don't pay to much attention to when people look for me to add them. If I haven't talked to them, I simply don't add them,,,,no biggie!! Then there are some that I have talked with for along time and I still don't have them on my friends list,,gosh I have no idea why, but it just isn't something I think about, I know they are a friend, and that's good enough for me.

	I am with you. I have had people put in a friends request to me and I have no earthy idea of who they are. I politely reject them. I suspect that they liked a blog or the profile essays. Being on a friends list to me means a little something. To a very slight degree the old axiom plays in, "a man is judged by the company he keeps." That reminds me, I need to send you a friends request!

	sweetnshy1 27, Female Scottsdale Arizona United States sweetnshy1 is currently waiting your approval I got this one today from this chick. She sent me one last week too and I denied it because I didn't know her. I shared a copy of this chick's first friends request with Holly last week after Holly's bulletin about this problem. She also looks like a friend collector on here.

	I agree, I like to know a little something about a person before putting them on my friends list. I'm not here to gather as many "friends" as I can. I gave up the popularity contest stuff when I graduated from high school.
