We own five vehicles. couple daily drivers, old work truck and my one foreign ride. It by far is my favorite. '74 toyota land cruiser! Why its my fav. is mainly because it's powered by a chevy 383 stroker. Fuck foreign! Their young men aren't going to war and dying for americans, ours are. WW2 all of america pulled together. What happened to being a proud american? If we won't stand behind our own nobody will, and that will lead to us crumbling like rome.

He is cutting everybodies throat and very few seem to realize that yet. The unions think they are getting control of Chrysler and GM...Haha the joke is on them a company that is bankrupt and being sabotaged by imported cars is worthless. What do they think they will pay their own retirement and medical benefits? This country of ours really needs to wake up and wake up fast the house is burning down around our ears and the leaders are trying to put it out with gasoline.

Good to see you back. Hopefully, you work for Ford as the "Big Three" spins down to the "Last One". If GM can get the Chevy Volt out to the marketplace, we may see a bit of a bounce for them.
Regardless of country of origin, nobody is making a big purchase unless they have too. The exception is in law enforcement as the Dodge Charger is rapidly replace the Crown Vic as the weapon of choice.
What do call a white guy driving a Dodge Charger?
A police officer.

Some kind of tax cut or rebate based on the percentage of American made or assembled parts in manufactured goods should help some. Our corporate tax rates are amongst the highest in the world as well, no wonder companies go overseas to save a few bucks.
