Yep, did some of my Spring cleaning today. I took windows out and cleaned them up. Had to get them out of the way first thing, I hate doing windows.  In one of the frames, I noticed an ant colony.....and I had a spray bottle full of pine-sol and water and I sprayed the hell out of the whole frame. I haven't seen an ant come out of it since, and that was about 6 or 7 hours ago. So I'm hoping I drowned the little buggars. 
I also put some new curtains and hardware up on my dining room window..the vertical blinds I had on it were ready for the trash..some of the panes had fallen, and the track was broke on them anyway. Putting up the little cafe rod for the curtain panels was easy, but putting up the little gizmos for holding the curtains open was a pain! I was going to borrow my Dad's cordless drill, but, just my luck, he was at my other sister's house, and she lives about 60 miles away. Too damned far to drive for a drill.  But, I got it all done, and it looks very nice. 
Next....I'm gonna tackle my backyard....I'm gonna need to rent a bobcat or bulldozer I think. 
I'm not bitching....I love this weather...means I'm not shoveling snow off my driveway! I'll take mowing the lawn over shoveling snow anyday! 
Oh yeah...one last thing...it felt damned good having the windows open all day too!  A little rocky with the dogs at first though, every little sound they heard had them barking.  But, they're quiet now...I honestly think it's more they wore themselves out with all their barking than listening to me tell the the shut up.
Yep..Spring is here.
