When the kids were younger we colored them. What am I talking about they still like to color them. Hot sauce?????? I have never seen or even heard of that before, is it a Southern thing? Sound just wrong. I just salt mine or make them into deviled eggs or chop some up and put on a salad.
Yes, hop on over to my burrow

When my daughter was younger, I always bought the plastics ones..and tucked things inside of them..... she wouldn't eat hard boiled eggs and well....I just like my eggs to grow up and become chicken!!

We do this with my kids as well. We boil up a dozen eggs, then we go out to the state park to a abandoned campground. We take the eggs & roll them down a hill, to symbolize the rock being rolled away from the cave where Jesus was. I like to eat mine with salt on them yummy.

Once my brother found an egg from the year before and when it cracked open, it stunk up his basket.

I love Ester! The bunnies, the chicks, the eggs and sweet treats! Nothing prettier than a basket all pink and green and full of goodies. I will always remember those fun days of finding the pretty colored eggs my Mom would decorate and hide for us. Brings back warm snuggy thoughts. This year I will be at work...wondering why people will be drunk on Beale Street on Easter?

We use to color eggs when my daughter was younger. I eat them with salt or make egg salad sandwiches.
I still make her a easter basket. Now that she is older I put a little candy, dvd, shirt, stuffed bunny, and about $20.00 in cash. Yeah she is spoiled.
Naw I will pass on getting fucked. I got mine last night

We had so many new additions in the family (so many little girls), that an easter egg hunt in a relative's backyard with plastic eggs filled with candy will probably happen. It's funny; I don't remember the last time my family had boiled and colored eggs. I don't think we're egg people.

I don't have any traditions for Easter other than to stay home and watch tv. I can't have the ham dinner as Ham does not like me and I have no one to celebrate with other than my family and christmas is more than enough Holiday time with them.
