I would have gotten into finances and let my money work for me, instead of the other way around!
Athough, moving down to FL, to become a gigolo with some good looking chick who has lots of money, would have worked too! C'mon now, when a woman does that with a man, he's called a sugar daddy.

No I wouldn't go back. If I did it would be a Gynocoligist on Park ave. Would I have to learn how to spell !!!!! I know this a serious subject. There is more out there then higher education. A good plumber where I am knocks down 80,000 with all kinds of benifits. Also heat & air pays great & down the line you can have your own shop.

That's a big one for me. I would have gone back to around the beginning of my senior year in High School. I would have been more open to the idea of staying in Columbus rather than traipsing around the country in search of a school with "prestige". I would have skipped the entire idea of going into mechanical engineering- because now I know I'm absolutely no good at it. I ended up wasting, all told, nearly thirty grand and a year of my life (a good year, too- 18-19 years old!) chasing some stupid pipe dream. Now I'm back in Columbus at OSU, about a year and a half behind my peers, and out a whole bunch of money. I'd just skip the whole ugly mess and go straight to OSU or Capital and go straight to majoring in Theatre and Acoustic Sciences. I'd be almost graduated by now.

Yes OHT ...if I could go back in time
I definitely got my act together and went into the military too first and foremost and the would have been able to advance thru college credits instead of struggling my whole life. Degree's are where it is at!!
As far as advice for the younger ppl.....Pharmacy is high paying all so in Radiology - Radiologist or CT Scan tech, US tech, even Anesthesiologists or Nurse anes are highly paid.
Another high paying job too I have heard is court stenographer, especially traveling one's (one's that get requested). Oh if only I knew then what I know now
My son is 18 and I am encouraging him to go on to college, I am keeping my fingers crossed he does. He did wonderful in school with his drafting and even won an award... ..
God bless the younger generation.........I would not want to have to be just getting out of school now............

Yeah, I would probably go back and instead of majoring in Government and Theater in college, I would probably have taken Business and Police Science.

I would be a forensic pathologist...but methinks I wouldn't have been smart enough because my math skills are not good, I hate math and have a learning disability when it comes to math so............
My second choice would be heavy equipment operator...good money and laid off all winter....

I have a BS (most appropriate!) in Math Education. I wanted to teach HS math, if you can imagine that. I did teach for a year and hated it.
In hindsight, I would have stayed in school an extra semester and gotten a degree in math to become an actuary. Boring as hell, but I'd be working half as hard for twice the money.
