Does anyone else have issue's with "Drive Thru Window's" posted 3/22/2009 7:54:09 PM | 2 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: coffee   SweetWineO I guess it really doesn't pay to go thru a Drive Thru Window because the majority of the time they always seem to "screw up" my order or try to charge me the wrong amount and even give me back the incorrect $$$$$$. Just the other day I admit I was running a lil behind going to work, so I decided to use the Dunkin Donut's drive thru. When I got to work and reached to get my X-tra Large cup of coffee out of the cup holder I felt a few drops and then realized after I was out of the car the dang cup had a hole in the bottom.......ggggggrrrrrr I was pissed !!! Needless to say no time to go back and replace it, so I called them and informed them what happened and that I would be back the next morning for the replacement cup. (So the next morning I go only to find the drive thru was blocked off, so I had to back up).....I swear.... Another day I decided to try a different Dunkin Donuts drive thru for coffee and the lady shorted me $ .15 cents......yes i know heck it was mearly small change however I was jipped....LOL I won't even go there when you have a special request and they give it too the car in front of you or behind you............ 	Well, if these drive through are fast and effecient, than I have no problem with them. But I alsway check my bag to make sure everything right and everythings there that should be before I pull on out from the window. Now, the Portsmouth McDonalds is one of the worst I have ever encountered. What seems to be an easy set up especially after midnight really isn't at this McDonalds. I believe that too many slackers work there because of the long waits, delays, and wrong orders.

	As often as possible I try to walk in. And because I have kids that are very selective I check the order before I leave. You may have to break down and buy a coffee maker with a timer on it so your coffee is ready on time every morning. It'll actually save money in the long run.

	I quit going to fast food restaurants years ago. There is no point in wasting money and coming up short over and over and over again. The work ethic of those who are hired is terrible. I am not going to participate in financing their paychecks when more than 90 % of the time I don't get what I want and the service at best is pathetic.

	Well don't give them a 2 dollar bill for sure!! Or ask for no cheese....LOL that fucks them right up!!! There was a blog posted about the 2 dollar bill last night.... quite funny! oh shit... did I just sound like Bruce?!?!?!? Good blog!

	I do go, seldom...but I do go.... but its like opening up a box of Cracker Jacks looking for the prize, when you Open up the Bag...You dont never know what ya are gonna get!!! Check it out.. dont worry about who is behind ya!!!

	You may have to break down and buy a coffee maker Funny thing is I have two coffee maker's....LOL.........however not one's with a timer..perhaps that would be my next best option........thanks P P I believe that too many slackers work there because of the long waits, delays, and wrong orders. Shawn .....I hear you on too many slackers..... LOL....Pink....yes I read it and I laughed hysterically with the $2.00 joke, I almost wished I had a $2.00 bill at the time......

	Drive thrus here are super slow, don't dare go to any of them between 11:30-1:30........your car will overheat!

	The length of the line determines whether I go through the window or park and go inside. Lots of times, it's quicker to park and go in.

	I know my hearing is going south, but I can never understand what the hell they say over the speaker. 90 o/o of the time, the person working the drive thru is using english as a second or third language.

	I just stop by the Burger King drive through now and then and very insistently order a Big Mac and drive away...

	I don't do fast good all that often anymore, but I really haven't noticed problems nearly as much as I used to. I have learned to keep it simple and not order anything that varies from the basic (such as extra this, hold that). I still see pizza orders getting screwed up.
