The one thing that worries me about this site is exactually who half these people are. Lord knows half the people arent who they say they are!
I am considering meeting someone, but really don't know what to expect. I'm beginging to get suspicious of who 'she' really is, we've been exchanging text messages for a while and have asked her to send me a picture, everytime I ask her for one she brushes me off! we have such a laugh with our texts but I don't know what to expect because I have know idea what she looks like, I meen without seeing her for all I know it could be a man!
I wonder if anyone else has ever had the same thoughts that I have had!

maybe call her instead of texting then you get an idea of her personality by how her voice is and such... you know how you can tell if some one is gunna be a dick depending on there tones and shit... but yes with sites liek this and myspace there are many imitators jus trying to get you to go see there cam site or buy some russian brides.... just be careful thats all meet at a public location if that worries you aswell...     have fun and be safe bro

What you are experiencing may be true; you may be communicating
with a guy.
However, it is far more likely that you are communicating with a woman
who is more obese than she is admitting.....or feels she is not pretty
in cultural terms.
My experience is that usually over weight women make great deal
out of "must communicate a great deal before meeting". They want
you to "see" them in a more whole sense before they risk rejection.
I could be very wrong....just my limited experience.

well i have ...and sometimes i'm pleasantly surprised and a time or 2 i got an UNpleasant surprise soo for ME?? i figure since SOME phys attraction will be needed ...a picture sooner or later is required IF we're gona meet in person ..got lots of buds here i just talk to and might never get to meet but probably seen their pics too.....use your gut instinct....and meet in a public place

it's hard when you can't actually see the person. I'm hesitant to put up pictures of myself because i don't think any of the ones i take look good, perhaps that's her problem as well...

You'd be surprised how many probably ARE men.
I have asked to speak to some of these 'women' and for some reason, they stop talking to me right after the request. Sure, I get pics, but for all I know they could be other people...
Once I talked with a guy on the phone, and he said he'd get his girlfriend....then I never heard another thing. (I think his girlfriend existed when he put a Barbie doll dress on his right hand.)
