I was going write a blog and opinion about something I read earlier online, but I decided that I am too tired to actually think...it's pouring rain here, which ruined my morning plans....and since we set clocks up an hour last night I feel cheated out of an hour of sleep.....on the one night I was actually able to sleep, lol....So I am going back to bed for a little bit. Maybe that hour..  Unfortunately, all by my self............ but I love to sleep when it's raining,even by myself.
But before I went I wanted to say good morning to everyone and hope you are all enjoying your weekend. 
So, what are you going to do with your Sunday?
Anything fun or interesting?
Do you ever go back to bed after you've been up for hours...just because?
And how is the weather where you are? Do you see signs of spring yet?

Good mornin Darlin....Headin to the Dells later today with my girls....can't afford it anymore since my big pay cut but want to anyhow. My oldest is 17, so will probably be the last time for all of us.
27 and cloudy here......didn't get the 7 inches of snow they were predicting  so just going to be overcast for the next couple days till more snow is supposed to arrive.
Hmmmmm, going back to bed sounds good.....want some company???

Well, I have a respiratory infection. I just took my antibiotic. The little darling is fifteen bucks a pill. But I am feeling well enough to think now and attend to a writing project I have put off for the past week or so.
Ironically, it involves ways to reduce health care costs as a broad topic, but the crux will focus on ICD-10 implementation. PTN and DMB knows what this is. I doubt that anyone else knows or cares about it, including me.
Here is a brief description of this thrilling and exciting subject:
The International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems 10th Revision (ICD-10) is a coding of diseases and signs, symptoms, abnormal findings, complaints, social circumstances and external causes of injury or diseases, as classified by the World Health Organization (WHO). The code set allows more than 155,000 different codes and permits tracking of many new diagnoses and procedures, a significant expansion on the 17,000 codes available in ICD-9.
The bitch for a professional writer is that you are supposed to have a degree of knowledge on the subject you are writing about. So I have been gathering information, reading reports (over 100 pages worth), and wrestling about how to tie this all in through technology to increase efficiency in medical coding, billing, and patient management.

It's a lazy weekend here, glad to say. There are times I take a snooze in the middle of the afternoon ...... just because I can, and actually they are better then what I sleep through the night. It's been snowing here, not sure if its suppose to amount to anything much or not. Boy I hope not, I am so ready for spring...

Oh Bruce! You just don't know what you're in for! LOL ICD-9 is a fairly easy tool to use for coding but ICD-10.... is completely different, off the charts! Way more specificity to use in coding. I'm hoping to get certified before 10 kicks in so I can be grandfathered in and not have to go thru schooling all over again! Other countries have been using ICD-10 for years, it's surprising that it's taking the US so long to implement it.... but I don't know many coders who are actually looking forward to it!!  Thank goodness they aren't implementing a new group of CPT codes! Those are already confusing enough! That was my downfall on the CPC exam!
Anyway... Sunday.... I would love to go back to bed, I tried but the cats wouldn't let me sleep so I got up... and well, guess where the cats are?!?!? Those bitches! So I will finish my laundry so all my clothes are nice, clean, pressed for my new job starting on Tuesday!
It's going to bed about 75 here today so yardwork is definitely on the agenda!!

Hey Casual...and everyone. The clock stepped forward but I didn't. I just pretend like it hasn't till I want it to. it is hazy and windy here in Mempho, but still warm enough to play ball with Talulah! She is a freak about her ball. It has to be a blue raquet ball. Every now and then a tennis ball gets some attention, but is usually ditched for the bouncier blue balls! HA!...no pun intended! I am trying to figure out where to apply for jobs tomorrow. I have to have a mission or I just get sidetracked.
I haven't had any luck from applying on line, not one return email of interest or phone call. All my interviews were set up and didn't pan out. I went to the establishments that had jobs posted on the internet and interviewed, but soon after they reposted and I never got a call back. I must be doing something wrong, or it is because I am 48. I just don't get it. I have all the qualifications for the jobs I am applying for, and knowone will hire me?! Any advice? Have a great day...I am going to try and keep my chin up...but it is getting very heavy!

What have I done today?? Got home about 1 am got naked and well a little of this and a little of that maybe not so little but OMG. Woke up around10 and let the puppies out. Got back in bed and a little more of this and that. About 1 went and got cold pizza from the fridge. Napped a little while watching a movie. Got the laptop to check out what is going on on here. Still naked and in bed at this time.
The weather. It has rained, the sun has shown, then it thunder stormed, and now the sun is back out and the winds are pounding on the side of the house.
