Do you try desperately to seperate your offline life from your online life?

Do you create aliases or persona's for yourself and have trouble keeping them from bleeding into who you are once your computer is turned off?

Being a sex blogger and sex toy reviewer it's hard not to get caught up in who you are online. I've had to edit my partner's name out of many posts because when you discuss the truly personal moments in life you can't help but tag and label those closest to you.

There are a select few people who know my real name. Even when I go to "events" or "scenes" I keep an alias. At particular clubs I don't want people to know who I am and it somehow gets traced back into my home life.

Has anyone from your home or work life come across your online life (mainly pertaining to sexuality)? Were you embarrassed or did you take it in stride?

Now with so many employers checking up on employees we have to really be stringent about the pictures we post and the information we give out because we could face termination from our job position if anything unscrupulous got out.

This post has turned into a bummer, I'm sorry. Cheer up, I'm offering a contest on my Blog for someone very lucky to win a gift card for free sex toys or free porn to Babeland. Babeland is an incredibly popular and sex positive e-tailer. They offer porn made by women for women, nongender specific toys, and toys that phthalates-free (phthalates have been shown to cause cancer in test subjects). They have one particular great toy, the Monkey Spanker for men. It's really small and the white version looks like an ipod accessory. I did a video review of it this week and unfortunately, I forgot I was topless when I filmed my review.

So enjoy and have a GREAT weekend!

I don't hide the fact that I'm here, but I often forget that the people in real life don't know I'm here, but I am however pretty close to being the same person both on and offline.

I'm just as much a freak in real life as I am here.......

hell, i'm on a few other sites, different names on most of the others. but i'm pretty much the same on all of them, tho the vanilla sites i do try to tone it down. and if someone runs across me on one of them, so be it, i won't deny it. heck some of them might find more than they were looking for anyway. but no matter what, i'm still the same horny old goat.

now any gals wanna fuck?

Recently I saw a news piece at CNN, if I am not mistaken, where the subject being discussed was "the trend towards the end of privacy as we know it and enjoy it today". There is so much info about any one of us out there that even trying to hide under aliases or fictional characters is rapidly becoming a futile affair. I wish that this inexorable loss of privacy would have happened thirty years back and not sometime sooner or later in the future. Yes, I have an alias here as most people do but, for whatever it might be worth, my real name is Angel Gonzalez (male type), born in NY city (Bronx) almost fifty years ago. I am a member of this site and many others like it because, like most human beings, libido takes a hold of me in small or large measure on a daily basis. Nothing (no human dimension) should be pushed underground. At my age, I have very little to lose anymore and, besides, if I were to be eased out of this world, I have already experienced a diverse gamut of "vivencias" whose mere recalling would sweeten my departure. What I am getting at is that we should all play without hiding our cards. Complete transparency should be the norm for humankind, that way, there would be no chance to even attempt lying.
