Monday i went to a can goods place and bought thirty cases of food.
Then dropped ten cases off at three different bible thumper places and i do this
twice a month.
Am i God fearing or a nice guy; HELL NO
I just get pissed off when i see hungery people.
So if an ass hole like me can do a little something;
why can't a do gooder like you get pissed off and
do something too.
Times are getting rough for a lot of us and the
last time i checked; we was all still part of the human race

I just recently was told that I made to much to get food assistance. I make barely over minimum wage. After getting that letter. I went to the store to try to find bulk food & has this very offensive smelling male who reeked of alcohol come up to me asking me if he gave me his food stamp card would i give him cash for it? I agree we are in desperate times & I am one to help people out. I once gave a 45 min. ride to a guy with a sign alaska or bust ( no i am not making that up) & my lunch & $20 for him to make it part of the way. But shit like that just plain pisses me off.

Sorry sam, that is awesome you do that for people. When i can ever get a better job & not live paycheck to paycheck. I promise to do the same thing you did. Kudo for you.

We try to help whenever we can. If we have it we share. Giving to those in need is great. But giving to those who sit on there ass and whine about nobody helping them is not happening here. I am glad you help out.

I agree with Cootiesprayer they said I made to much for foodstamps but I can't afford to go to the grocery yet the ones who receive assistance are better off than me?? Good for you for helping right now I gotta see me thru these times

I once let a woman and her daighter live with me free. They had food stamps and ate better than I have ever eaten. Thank god I eat cause I have to and I don't indulge just to be appeased. I threw them out after I came home from work one day. The reason was, the mother left town for a vacation with friends that flipped the bill and she left her daughter with me without asking. I was outraged.
