I have just had about enough of Girl Scout cookies....lol I'm still collecting money from people for cookies. 
I'm munching on shortbread right now. Yum. What is your favorite Girl Scout cookie? Caramel Delites/Samoas, Thin mints, tag a longs/thanks a lot, shortbread, peanut butter patty, peanut butter sandwich?? 
I'm in love with the caramel delites, I can't resist coconut, chocolate and caramel!!!

They don't. But Edy's makes ice cream with the cookies and sells it for a short time each year. Look for it in your grocer's freezer. (Did you like my ad? )

The mints are my favs they have peanut butter cookie that used to be quite tasty, but they might have recalled this year. I used to work in an office with about 25 thirty something women and it was considered protocol to buy a box from every woman peddling them on their kid's behalf, so that could mean up to four boxes of cookies.

I beleive they are called samoas. I usually buy just to help out and give cookies to my kids. Thin mints are good too. Cookies puts more weight on. I dont need more weight.

FYI, we were not part of the recall. We actually got a small piece of paper to give to our customers with info letting them know we are safe and not part of the PB recalll. 
Now, my kid on the other hand sells tons of cookies, I sell a ton for her to, funny that it's an "expected" thing.....lol

My personal fav are Thin Mints followed closely by Peanut Butter Sandwich.
Back in the days when I was in scouts.....I'm an Eagle, btw... people wouldn't even think of selling at work, and now it seems the norm. Like WOW, it seems expected now in the workplace to buy from every mother, friend, relative, of a Girl Scout. I'm not knocking the practice, as it is beneficial to the troops, just saying how the times have changed.
Mentioning Soylent Green, kinda makes you wonder what may be going into the foods from other countries especially those with no inspection programs...

I got taken to a Dallas Stars hockey game today by a client and bought some thin mints as the Girl Scouts had a stand. They were only $3.50 a box, a real bargain compared to what other items are at a concession stand at a professional sporting event. They were giving out free one pound packages of Community Coffee also and I wound up with two dark roast plus a coupon for two Jack in the Box tacos. The client bought lunch also at an upscale place. I came out real well on all of that.

You take the peanut butter paddies (I don't think they are selling them here anymore) drop them in a blender with some ice cream (I like chocolate of all kinds) blend it like a blizzard. Then you can just eat it or..... well use your imagination.

But not teh Girl Scout ice cream. Somehow that just seems wrong. Yeah Edy's has the thin mint ice cream it is so good. What you do is get that yummy thin mint ice cream & the cookies crumble up the cookies & add them to your bowl it is so good with chocolate sauce drizzled over them!!!
Oh yeah, sunshine my ultimatum fav. is the thin mint but would have to say I also like the samoas.
