Vegas Valentine Nuptials...

The other night I was flipping through channels trying to find something to focus on and I saw where they were saying many of the wedding chapels in Vegas are getting more calls than usual about Valentine Day nuptials.
And the hotels have more rooms booked with people asking about about wedding packages than in previous years.
They said many are considering marriage as a way to save money, to be able to get more back from joint tax returns, tax credits and for health insurance purposes.
They said that even with the expense of the trip to Vegas, the hotel stay, chapel fees and meals it's still considerably less expensive than a traditional wedding, reception and honeymoon.
And if people look around there are lots of discount offers and coupons to take advantage of, making it an even better value.
This includes the wedding and the honeymoon all in one. The ceremony can be recorded --- for a small additional fee --- on DVD to share with friends and family when returning home.
This sort of gives a whole new meaning to the traditional line of

I always swore if I found the love of my life I wanted to go and do it in Vegas
I figured it would be cheaper and a great honeymoon all in one. NO dress to buy, reception to pay for with food and drink
yeah runaway to Vegas have hot sex, gamble a little eat a bit then more sex. Sounds like a great plan to me

I have a feeling it is so bad that if you wanted to find someone to marry you could just go there and stand in line!
...and that ain't funny!

My girlfriend got married in a beautiful Vegas chapel, had about 15 guests and it all cost around $1500. Helluva deal.

My son & his fiancee are getting married in Vegas, March 7!
The best thing about it is the ceremony will be broadcast online, for all the people to watch,
that can't afford the trip!!! Plus, they make it available for them, for 3 months
thereafter!!! This is saving all of us a boatload of $$$$
Happy Valentines Day, EveryOne!!!!
