A handful from Westboro Baptist (the GodHatesFags.com people) and some misc. old people. A lot of it seems to be about there being gays here. I think I've counted 4 gay guys in the whole con. Lots of bisexual women though. I look out my window and see them there, looking cold and frustrated that most passers-by, even in this conservative, well-to-do suburb on the north side, are either ignoring them or telling them to leave people alone. I've had hardly any time to watch. Last night I got into some stuff as a dom that I'm still getting used to. Earlier this afternoon, when I got up, I went to a lecture on chastity training/tease and denial. Went back to my room and played the sub for a change. It was different, but pretty fun. I think the best way to confront these nutjobs is to just have fun despite them waving signs telling me not to (though since I'm not gay, maybe they wouldn't have such a problem with it?) WBNS seems to be worried that we're going to leave some sort of nasty residue in the air that will give the other guests herpes or something. You can read their commentary here. And hardly anyone is actually doing any intercourse or penetration play. It's mostly heavy BDSM. At least they're not moaning on and on about how we're a bunch of godless sodomites. I didn't see the folks from The Other Paper this morning but apparently they're a bit confused as well. They think it's a gay sex conference. At least it seems that way. All they talk about is whether or not it's ok to have gays in the hotel. Oh well, at least they're sympathetic to our cause. You can read their article here. 	Good. Perhaps it will be a humbling experience to them to have been so mistaken. And a good example to the public just how disorganized they are about all this. Everyone has the right to their opinion, but I hate any type of having someone's opinion shoved down my throat.

	I will never understand why anybody gets so worked up about what other people want to do sexually. As long as it is between consenting adults why would I give a rat's ass what gets other people off? I think dmbchick is actually onto something. I think most of these "religious" types that protest either have latent homosexual desires are so terrified that they do that they need to protest as loud as they can to drown out their own thoughts.

I will never understand why anybody gets so worked up about what other people want to do sexually. Because they are pissed they can't get in on some action like that and get to have the same old tired missionary sex because that is "the Christian thing to do"
