Yea, I stoled a line from an old cartoon... I couldn't think of a subject title, and it just kind of fit..

With the economy the way it is, it's not that any of us have any actual money to spend, but when you do go to the grocery store, gas station, pay bills, out to eat, shopping...etc....

Which of the following do you use the most....and why?

Debit Card....
Credit Card...
Check... (or cheque)
Money Order....
or Cash.... (it's that stuff that we used to use in the old days)

I like to pay cash for just about everything...

Debit card. Can't keep cash in my wallet, it kinda goes missing.

I use my debit card for most everything...I carry very little cash - just enough to get the Sunday paper for a few weeks.

Debit card....

I usually carry very little cash.... If I have $20 cash, I will spend $20.
I don't use a debit card because I know me and eventually I would be in a hurry, misplace the receipt and forget to write something down and be in serious trouble....

I write a check for just about everything that I do. The registry is right there with the checks so I write it down as I am writing the check. And I don't normally write a check for say $5.... but if it were cash, it would be gone.

Unfortunately, most gas stations don't take checks so it's pretty easy to grab a credit card and just swipe it at the pump. Unless it is just too cold out or I have to be in a hurry, that bad habit stopped a couple weeks ago.

Normally a debit card and if I'm low on cash, I get cash back as it saves a stop at the bank. For small purchases, cash. It irritates me when somebody gets one small item and use something other than cash.

But for items outside of groceries, I will use the credit card and pay once in a while and pay the whole thing off in a couple of weeks. Keeping a small balance on it actually improves the credit score I'm told.

I use my Amex whenever I can, just keep a small amount of cash on me for small purchases. Convenient, no interest, bonus points on all purchases, easy to keep track of what I spend and everyting paid off at once at the end of the month.

I use my debit card for everything. Last time I tried to write a check I got writers cramp putting in the date. LOL

We use the debit card for everything....I usually have very little cash on me. And hubby always asks me how much money we have in the bank, so that lets him know if he can use the debit card. BTW...he's not allowed to go to Lowe's without me, as he usually comes home with stuff he already has 2 of!!!

Cash for me. I never did trust banks. and with all of them going under now,
you know why.

Jan 27 @ 12:09PM
Debit card. I don't even have paper checks anymore. I pay all my bills online and use my debit card everywhere I go.

I try to use debit.

Cash for little stuff. Credit card for big stuff. Checks for groceries, or bills.

I pay of my credit card monthly; I live within my means, even though it's a tad painful.

I don't trust my debit card, both for forgetting to enter the debit into the checkbook, and
for the hidden, er, "service charge"...
