If, for some bizarre reason, you had to give up one of your five senses, but you got to choose which one it would be, which would you choose?
Sight Smell Hearing Taste or Touch?
And why would you choose that one instead of the others?

I would choose Taste, that way I could eat healthy and not have to worry about how bad the stuff tastes to me.

I think that I would give up hearing.... I'd still have my sight to see my granndchildren and their beautiful faces and my flowers in the spring, I'd still have my sense of smell to smell my flowers and the "baby" smell of the grandchildren and good food cooking, I'd still have touch, to touch their soft, silky cheeks, my husbands face when he smiles at me. Lots more reasons, but again, I just got up and haven't even finished my coffee!!!

I think it would be "touch". I had lost that before - not being able to feel what I touched. If it included feeling someone touch you tho......

I'd give up smell. My Dad got really sick once and last his sense of smell...never has gotten it back...and he does just fine.

For me I would never want to lose my sight nor my hearing. And I'm too touchy feely to want to give that up, sooo between taste and smell...probably would be the taste...yeah I pick taste.

I'd go with taste also. Then maybe I could lose some weight

For me it would have to be between smell and taste. If I gave up smell, then things might taste differently . . . Screw it, I'd probably go with taste.

chemo made me lose my sense of taste for a while...it was wierd, i was hungry but nothing satisfied me, everything tasted like cardboard...instead of losing weight, i gained it, maybe because of other meds, but maybe because nothing satisfied me...

Don't you lose taste when there is no smell?
As for picking, this would be a hard one.
