Hey guys, I need some help. My daughter has a community service project and is asking for something simple, so I figured I can come to you guys to help. Kid with the most cards in her class wins a prize...not sure what that is yet...but here is a letter from her.
"Dear Friends and Family-
Our 3rd grade class is doing a community service project. We are collecting used greeting cards for the children at St. Jude's Ranch. They can be any kind of used greeting cards. Please help me collect used cards and turn them in to Mrs. Alvarez by January 30th.

Recycled Card Program History
Over 30 years ago, wishing to show our donors appreciation for making St. Jude's Ranch for Children possible, the idea was conceived for turning the previous year's Christmas cards into "new" cards for the coming season. The recipients were so delighted with their unique "thank you", they requested the children sell them the special cards. And so, the St. Jude's Ranch Recycled Card Program was born.
Since then, the Program expanded to include all occasion greeting cards...just about anything that starts with a used greeting card front. People from all over the world have sent us their used card fronts.
The children participate in making the new recycled cards by removing the front and attaching a new back made with recycled paper. The new care is beautiful, "green" card made by the children and volunteers. The benefits are two-fold: customers receive "green" holiday cards for use and the children receive payment for their work and learn the benefits and importance of "going green". Recycled cards may be purchased online.
If anyone has any left over Christmas, Birthday, Get Well or whatever cards, can you please send them to:
