How much money is in the envelope? Doesn't matter....I'm not gonna lie. I would keep it and spend it. Yeah...yeah...yeah....hey I'm being honest!

2. What if you met your idol and they ended up being totally rude?

I'd say, "That's a nice pair ya got there!" LOL....seriously...I have no idea!!!! I would have to pick my jaw up off the ground probably

I have to admit, it would be extremely tempting to keep it, but in the long run I couldn't do it.. I would turn it into the police.......and hope like hell that no one claimed it... lol

I lost a small make-up case that I kept pictures, ins cards and such in late last winter. I had gone to the bank and had a fair amount of cash in it that I didn't have time to redeposit. I dropped it either in my driveway or my back yard. When it was found and turned in it had been open laying in the snow. All the pics were ruined and the money was gone. I hope they needed it more than I did..

2. What if you met your idol and they ended up being totally rude?
Sometimes fantasy is much better than reality... I can't think of anyone who I would look towards as an idol off hand..but if that happened I guess they wouldn't be any longer and I would tell them why.
Not that it would matter to them..

...I'd take the money I found in the envelope, and hire a hit man to take care of their worthless ass.........

1. I'd most likely keep the money, but give a generous chunk to charities. If it was a lot of cash in a plain envelope, it would seem to me that it was misplaced by an illegal alien or drug dealer.

However, it might also depend upon the dominations of the bills and where I found it. For example, if it was in the parking lot outside of the bank and five one hundred dollar bills, I would figure some poor guy had just sold his 1995 Chevy. I would call the bank, explain that I had found some money. The person claiming it would have to be able to describe the amount and denominations.

2. I would just blow it off, whatever. I have met thousands of famous people, so I am used to it. Most are good people.

I know I'd want to keep the money. And if I did, I'd spend it generously. I'd pay for peoples lunches, gas and stuff. Around town, just surprising people by picking up their tab. I think that would be so cool to be able to go out and help others.

But, then again, If it were my lost money, I'd want it back.

As for someone being rude....I'd have to tell them to their face that money doesn't make a person and they are just rude and wish them a happy fuckin' life.

What if you met your idol and they ended up being totally rude?

I hope this isn't construed to be a hijack, but it is something topical I would like to impart. Several years an NBA player got caught misbehaving. He got defensive about it when asked by the media and more or less said that he did choose to be a role model.

Former NBA great Karl Malone wrote him a short letter that more or less said (sic), "No, you did not choose to be a role model. You were chosen to be a role model. Many kids that look up to you have no man in their life. I suggest you start acting like one."

1. I've had this discussion before...my guilty conscience wouldn't let me keep the money...I'd have to turn it in.

2. Never met any of my idols, but I would have to think that Chuck Norris would be a gentleman!!

Ok I'm one of those dimwits that goes out of their way to return a pen I walked off with cuz stealing is stealing even if it's accidental.. so I'd turn the money in.

As for an idol that turned out to be rude? Well.. I guess I'd be disillusioned with them and have to find a new idol.

No matter how badly I needed it. I would return the Money, and have done so many times.

As for Idols I have none. People are just people to me. No one better than another.
And if they are rude ? I would probably let them know what idiots they are.

LMAO....

I'm such a dork. I thought the question was, "What if you met your idol and they ended up being totally nude?" Swear to God I thought that said "nude" and not "rude".

HAHAHAHAHA....I made myself laugh.

I have turned a wallet in to a secutity guard at an airport before. If he took care of it properly than more than likely the person got it back, if he didn't and kept it then it isn't on my conscience. Idols? they are usually preconcieved notions of what you would like to be.

Funny you should ask that....about 13 years ago, I took the bus home from work, when I got on the bus there was an envelope on the floor I picked it up. I swear, I almost hyperventilated when I opened it up, lol. Can't remember exactly how much money was in there but it was close to $100. There was a name on the envelope (lucky for them) When I got home I looked the name up in the phone book. An older woman answered the phone, to make a long story short she said that she did ride that bus route today, but she wasn't missing anything..........well I told her what I found and with her husbands name on it (he was deceased by the way)....I agreed to meet her the next day to return it to her. And do you know she never so much as said 'thank you'. Bazare and very ungrateful I might add.....or so I thought!!

I'd definitely take the money and probably put it towards a big screen tv or a new house, depending on the dollar amount inside the envelope. And my idol isn't rude, but he is an a*# hole. Hopefully I will one day be the a%@ hole that he is.

If the money was a substantial amount I would not turn it. I will never turn anything into the police. I have too many cop friends who have told me how corrupt the police dept is and how unlikely it would be that the owner would ever see the money again.
I would however put an ad in the local paper advising an amount of money had been found and if the owner could identify the exact amount and approximate location I found it the money would be returned minus the cost of the ad.

As for idols I don't really have any. There are people I really respect though and I met one several years ago a well known country singer and he turned out to be a wonderful guy.

1. If you found an envelope full of money on the ground, what would you do with it?

Depends..how much money are you talking about? A few hundred bucks, I'd keep it and spend it. A few thousand or more.....I'd hold onto it for a while and see if someone reports it lost and return it.

2. What if you met your idol and they ended up being totally rude?

I'd tell them to go to hell

1. If you found an envelope full of money on the ground, what would you do with it?

I don't know. It would depend on how much was in it. Since I work at the IRS, I imagine I'll have to see if anyone will claim it first. If no one claims it and I end up with it, I'll have to pay more than my fair share of taxes on it. That's okay, those same taxes end up in my checking account every 2 weeks. Recycled taxes to wages?

2. What if you met your idol and they ended up being totally rude?

I did have that happen to me this year. I met this person almost 2 years ago (in person - this person was a member of a very famous and short-lived rock band who lives here in Austin) and got to know him and his wife pretty well. A few months ago, his ego got really inflated from all the fawning and praise he was getting from his fans from all over the planet in a music thread and he was totally rude to me in this thread when all I wrote on this thread was nothing but nice things about him AND his wife. I felt that it was totally uncalled for and I wouldn't have been so totally pissed if what he wrote was in a PRIVATE message, but he posted it for all of the universe to see. I was quite taken aback by this. He's a total ass. I quit going to his and his wife's gigs because of this, but sadly, I still like and love his past and current music.
