Driving down the highway and having that feeling wash over me....independent, capable and free to be me.
Watching my great grandson being....well...just being all boy! (ornery lil shit he is)
Kisses. They are so few and far between that they are super delicious when I do get one....sigh...
Having 2 cats curl up on my lap, purr motors going full tilt and knowing I am their whole world. They accept me as I am and freely comfort me thru all the trials of life.
Looking around my home and as humble as it is, filled with thrift shop goodies, it is mine...comfortable, homey and my shield against all that seeks to harm me.
My keyboard organ. Self taught and amateur that I am, it still reminds me I can do anything I set my mind to and it doesn't have to be perfect to enjoy it.
That's enough. Good blog....giving you a kudo...another natural high just cause I can.

37. Holding hands with someone you care about.
You know it's really funny, when DKW and I worked at the same place, the younger people use to say how cute it was that we'd sit and hold hand during our breaks or after we ate. They complained that their guys wouldn't do that.
DKW and mines response was "And you sleep with them?" I'm forever reaching for DK's hand when we walk side by side, if he doesn't reach for mine first. I guess we're just very old fashion.
