The last person I hooked up with was from the vanilla site. To me it is all about this site being small with very few people nearby. For grins, I just ran a search on the vanilla site for women 40-60 within 20 miles of me resulting in 18 pages of matches. For AMD the same search criterion produced three pages. Seems clear to me.

Personally (and that is the only way I can answer) I don't see how NO STRINGS ATTACHED is fun...I don't view AMD as an Internet whorehouse no myself as a whore. Therefore, I expect to get to know someone long before I ever plan on having sex with him. Lame, possibly toxic, sex just isn't worth it. I want to enjoy myself. I seek EXCELLANT sex...not just any old sex. And, I feel like I am only going to get that with a partner I know, trust and whose company I enjoy.
I'm sure there are many people that get off on having sex with a stranger and have no problem with responding to requests for such. Whatever floats their boat. I'm just not one of them...nor would I want to have intimate relations with someone that was.

The answer is yes they do. Just as i'm sure there are people that get together for casual sex. Just because it isn't broadcasted in the blogs doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I've met several people from this site, not all of them men, and not all of them for sex. Like L4E i'm not here for the quantity of sex I can have, I want quality sex with someone I can have an actual relationship with. JMO

That is true, but in most of these cases it involved someone or both, being willing to travel hundreds, perhaps thousands of miles to meet, and then somebody being willing to relocate. That is much easier said than done for most people, especially if they both have a good job that is difficult to replace.
But then again, we have had these conversations so many times before.

The ones who blog about not being able to get laid are for the most part and there are exceptions I am sure, the know-it-all self proclaimed intelectual geniuses in their own minds who think playing here is going to get them laid. It actually will have the opposite effect as statistics would show only other bloggers will hook up with them. I am sure the success stories people here are willing to share involve two people who met in the blogs and are now involved in or are embarking on an LTR.
