Recent blog comments have bemoaned the lack of sex blogs lately. While some have been trying to raise the number (or are they just raising their own member?) of blogs, they can't do it alone. (Well, they could, but then it mastur-blogging). So I pose the question: "Have you made the choice to withhold your Sex Blog or Sex Blog Comment?"
My contention is that people withhold their Sex Blogs & Sex Blog Comments just as some withhold sex from their partner. In my long marriage there were many times that one of us would hold back. Kids, work, stress, fatigue, anger, etc. all combined to dampen the spirit.
The reasons are many, the result the same. Less sex. Some are here because they don't get enough real sex, so they turn to cyberspace. Just as we need to understand why are partners "aren't in the mood", we need to understand why our fwllow bloggers hold back, so the frustration and resentment doesn't grow and we all retreat to our virtual bedrooms devoid of healthy cyber-sex and end up mastur-blogging.
So come on bloggers, why do you hold back? Why don't you put yourself out there?

For me, it is because there are so many blogs posted that the readership on individual blogs is less. Consequently, I am less motivated to put forth much effort as the readership numbers are not very high anymore, for anybody.
I did, however, spend about an hour writing one today. But it could be the last one for a while.

I have put myself out there many times. I have found that my writing isn't to most peoples tastes, so why would I slap it down in front of them?
So yes, I still write blogs, sew writings, erotica, the works, I just don't post them anymore. I really don't think people want to read them as much as they claim too.
Just my two cents.
