I've gotten a few emails lately that quite truthfully I just haven't had the time to answer. and when I do have time, I'm just tired or too many things on my mind due to some important things going on in my personal life..
I am not saying that my friends on here are not important...you are.
So please bear with me and accept my apologies for not getting to your emails. I don't mean for it to appear rude but I am going to just answer a few of the repeated questions here, so I'm not trying to figure out who I answered or who I accidently left out..

I want to thank so many of you for your thoughts and prayers for Khyler. Both in my blog and in emails. Khylers surgery was Monday but it didn't go as planned so they are going to do another one either this Friday or Monday...depending on how much more he heals between now and then. He is still in traction but is now awake....and quite happy on morphine. Unfortunately he has acquired an ammunity to any medications that they normally give to children to sedate them..And they have to be very careful what they give him as he only has one good lung so intibating him is not an option.
He is in good spirits and doing as well as he can be doing for right now..
But he can still use continued prayers and well wishes.


A few of you have asked how Griz and I are doing....if I'm still up there or at home...and one individual wanted to know since I'm not blogging anymore and he hasn't been online if we have broken up.
No, we haven't broken up. We are quite happily still together. Except for now I am back in Ohio and we are both missing each other.
We spent a wonderful month together while I was in Mn. All in all it went better than I even expected.
Both of us know how lucky we are to have found each other and want this to work and are positive we can make it.
I know I'm not always an easy person to get along with and although I used to just pack a bag and take off for days or even weeks at a time, I am not used to being far from home for very long anymore. Or away from my girls and grandson at all. And we have both been on our own for quite a few years.
But the intent of me being there for that amount of time was to see if we were both positive we wanted to spend our lives together and If I could adjust to being "home" somewhere else. ..(kind of like the old saying about teaching an old dog new tricks)...
I guess sometimes when they love and are loved old dogs like new tricks and new homes...........

Speaking of new homes, that's why Griz has not been online. He's doing some remodeling to the room the computer will be set up in and hasn't bothered to set it up in another room or have internet connected yet. But he will soon. That's the only reason he hasn't been on AMD lately.
