If you haven't yet bought your poppy for remembrance from a VFW member, get your asses to a local grocery or walmart and do so. It's only a dollar out of your finances and it goes to help support Veterans.
Give all the kudos you would normally be donating to my cause to either Ewe_Wish or Gry today... their blogs are both heart melting and much deserving. Please don't kudo this blog..but do remember our Veterans and when you go and purchase your Poppy for Remembrance.. shake the hand of the gent selling it.. and thank him for his service.

Had to work full shift today and didnt get out. Rarely see the poppies anymore anyway. But our local Harley club (A.B.A.T.E. ) visits Vets in the VA hospital nearby, taking them toiletries and such, collects funds for the VA hospital and are trying to raise funds for the construction of a greenhouse wing for them there. So we try. 
(Happen to be one, too.....  )
