Here lately our government has been throwing some pretty large numbers at us; 700 billion, 250,000 and the biggest...2.2 trillion.

These are numbers that are just way too large for the average person to comprehend. Ok...maybe not 250,000. But you know what I mean.

Back during the 80's...I remember the media putting the number One Billion into perspective. At that had been approximately 1 billion days since the death of Jesus.

So I decided to do a little perspecting myself. (yes firefox...I know that's not really a word!!)

I did some calculating, with the help of Canu...and came up with this; 2 trillion days is equal to almost six hundred billion years.

Want to know what was going on six hundred billion years ago? According to popular scientific theory...absolutely nothing. The Big Bang only occurred 13 billion years ago...give or take a half a billion years or so.

Now my math has never been if this calculation is incorrect please feel free to correct it.

My point is...our taxes are supposed to be funding 2.2 trillion dollars or more to bail out banks. How long is it going to take to pay this back?
