What two tv show classics, one being a drama series, the other one being a comedy sitcom would you revive, and why? The comedy sitcom I would revive would be Cheers (1982-1993) because that show had many great characters to it and even though they have aged over the years I still think it would be good enough to watch them with their pranks and common bond with each other. As for the drama series, I would revive Hawaii 5-0. Even though Jack Lord is no longer living, and the cast is actually too old for working for the state police now, we would have to have a new cast. The commish could be "Steve McGarrot's" son. I thought that I heard not too long ago that CBS was going to revive Hawaii 5-0 this coming fall season and have that character play the commish. I haven't heard about it since, so I'm not sure if it's still in the works or not. What two shows (drama and comedy sitcom) would you bring back, and why?

Okay, I didn't lie, I just changed my mind about blogging again tonight. Had this pretty good blog topic (this blog) that I thought that I would post because it's still a little too early for bed for me. That and the fact that I'm a night person.

I think one show that would be good is MASH. Alot of that humor would work today.
Another good show would be Gunsmoke. The show was a little dry back then. By today's standards, it could be jazzed up alot and showed on FX.

Interesting topic there Stradd For drama,....I would say China Beach. For comedy,..I would love to see an updated version of the old Mayberry crew! and I can do you one better by picking Billy Bob Thorton to play Andy, and John Cryer, (two, and a half men) as Barney Fife.
Gonna give ya a greener for this one

Three's Company I loved the antics of the roomies fooling Roper, then later on, Furley, about Jack being gay. That show was hilarious. Although I doubt there is anyone out there who could come close to John Ritter.
Drama? hmmm..closest I can think of for that would be CHiPs...I loved the action on it, and what the heck...Erik Estrada is still in good shape and still got that fine smile.
