I'm trying to behave myself right now and not blog political blogs leading up to the election. I know that I have been, but by God, I'm really trying to stay away from politics on this site (gets me into trouble).

We all on here should make a pledge and not write political blogs until after the election. Honestly, I'm trying from now until the election not to.

i already voted absentee, my big 25 cents worth, it used to be two cents
worth, but ya know inflation. i voted peace and freedom party, instead
of the war and slavery parties. we're tired of enslaving the world. let them
live in peace and freedom. maybe we will get to too. and someday escape
even death and taxation. until then.......... paying taxes. of all kinds.

It's too bad that political campaigns are no longer about politics or philosophy. I fear where we are going in this country. And socialism is not the right course.

I hate to say it, but socialism began in this country with the advent of Social Security.
Then came the Great Society, and welfare. Now handouts are expected, and votes
are won by promises of "spreading the wealth"....

Wow...can't believe "Fact Check wire" accepted an anonymous letter as a fact...I'm really tired of this kind of reporting. *sigh*
