I remember back in my high school senior year while in psychology class that the teacher asked that to us. Of course he gave us a few choices like "would you want to die in your sleep?", "would you want to go out in a blaze of glory?", and a few other choices I can't recall off hand. He also asked us how we wanted our bodies desposed of (not really quite his words, but you get the driff). At the time I picked something like a blaze of glory, meaning something like a plane crash. The other question I answered to not having my body found (because I love a good mystery as it would pertain to my body having not been recovered and people holding out hope that I was actually alive and not be forgotten (such as people telling mysterious tales about my accident, and the fact that they heard that I'm still alive). I know, it was pretty selfish for me to go this route considering my family and friends would need some kind of closure to "my death", but I was young and enjoyed one of the best soaps (General Hospital) at the time when I was so "into" some of the storylines I watched on that soap and maybe a few other soaps. Today I would lean more toward dying in my sleep right after making love. I'm sure most would pick this.  As for the other question today, I would be buried. What about all of you, what would your two answers be?

I don't think I've seen this posted before.
Since I'm at a point in my life where I DON'T want to die, kind of hard for me to think up the "how".  And as for "eternal rest", I've always leaned towards cremation.

Hi Straddle 
After watching the suffering of most members of my family, I'd have to say I'd like to go like mom did. She had an episode the day prior but, passed away in her sleep. Dad, on the other hand, suffered for over a year and it was pure torture! 
Disposal...well, I'd have to say that cost wise, I'd lean towards cremation but, due to my religious beliefs and those of my family, I would like to be buried by my family.

I guess you missed "people" and "Time" magazines covers and other main magazines with the HUGE Luke and Laura craze. The wedding of Luke and Laura was the most watched episode(s) on any soap or daytime tv. With the ratings that high you know there had to be many guys watching it along with women too. Guess you and a few others were out of the loop at that time too. lol

Okay, the post is not a rerun, the title is...and you posted it the first time. Nothing new here. Plus there are the related ones like would you jump out of a tall burning building or burn up.
I want to die without knowing about it. Being a murder victim sounds exciting. The guy next door's cousin was one of three people shot late at night in a car parked at a drug infested apartment complex in west Dallas. When he returned from the funeral he said, "There must have been 200 people there. 199 were friends and family and the other one was the shooter."
